Mods for Minecraft 1.16.2

Replay Mod is one of the leading mods to allow you to capture your gameplay. It is exceptionally useful when you want to make videos of Minecraft for youtube, making a mod/shader pack showcase, or just want to show your friends what you do in Minecraft. Mod will start capturing a video as soon as you enter the world. You can turn off this feature in the settings if you want. Once you leave the world or you stop shooting, the special raw video file will be generated. To find it you must enter the Replay Viewer from the main menu. It will show you a list of raw videos, from which you have to choose the needed one.    If you open it, you will see the same world as you have played before, and besides, it will provide you a couple of more interface elements, namely, timeline, speed regulator, and multiple control buttons. This is where you will be creating your video. You will be given a camera, that is pretty flexible and easy to control. To shot your video all you have to do is to define the Position and Time keyframes. Position Keyframe indicates where the camera should be at a particular time, and Time Keyframe indicates when the video will start and when it ends. To move around press Esc button, to get back to interface press 'T' button. Also, you can play the gameplay capture using the 'P' key. If you want to synchronize the video timeline with the gameplay timeline you have to press 'V'.    After you have set up all the keyframes you need to visualize (generate) video. To do so, click the save icon and you will see the number of settings of video to be generated. Among them you can for example adjust the video resolution, format, and the folder to save it.Due to many requests, I've added 1.16.4 version to the website as well!Versions above 1.14.4 require Fabric installed!

Sodium is another FPS optimization mod that is the best alternative to Optifine mod, however, it boosts your game even further to the limits. Unlike Optifine, which includes its integrated vanilla GUI, Sodium mod comes up with its improved, dark user interface, where you can adjust all the graphical aspects of the game.There are although some differences with the Optifine, such as this mod runs on Fabric API, and it does not support shader packs. But you can still play your shaders by just installing another mod on top of it called Iris mod.

If you are fed up with getting lost and having to spend hours to find the locations you have visited or find animals to breed, then Xaero's Minimap mod solves your problem!  This mod is among the best mods that add a map to the game, but in contrast to most of them, it has a wide variety of features, most of which are customizable. The map comes with two types of design, square and circular, both differencing only in the form.  Minimap shows you the compass directions, animals and mobs surrounding you, landscape, coordinations, and of course, your own location. You can also set waypoints, which will be visible in both minimap and game world. They will help you to mark specific places like your come, dungeons, mines, etc. to find them later. You can also teleport to them if you wish. If cave mode is turned on, then minimap will show you the surrounding blocks on the ground and under! OptiFabric is a simple mod that allows you to run OptiFine on the Fabric mod loader. This mod takes OptiFine and makes it compatible with Fabric at runtime. Note that OptiFine does not come bundles with this mod, so you'll have to download it separately from the official website. Add both the OptiFabric mod and your preferred OptiFine version to .minecraft/mods folder and you will be able to access the wide range of tweaks and setting that OptIFine offers, on Fabric.Download links are given below.

If you use the Fabric modloader, then Mod Menu is a must have. Mod Menu does exacly what its name suggests. It adds a menu, which contains a list of mods that you have along with customization options that the mod privides. By using Mod Menu, you can even customize your mods in-game. All you have to do is to pause the game and select the "Mods" option from the list of options. This will open up a screen with a list of your mods. From this list, you can select a mod and customize it (if the mod provides an option to do that). The Roughly Enough Items mod provides an easy way to browse crafting recipes. The item crafting and inventory interface is now a lot more cleaner and is heavily customizable. REI works well with mods and this support does allow you to browse through items added by mods very easily. The main focus of this mod is on providing an easy way to craft items into everything that specific item can be converted into. For example, a log can either be crafted into planks or you can convert it into a stripped log by right clicking with an axe. Giselbaer's Durability Viewer is an amazing utility mod that helps you solve the issue of tools, weapons and armors breaking unexpectedly. The vanilla game already provides a durability bar. But it's tiny and often hard to notice. This mod solves all these issues by providing a highly customizable overlay that shows you item durability in numbers. Alongside, it also shows you your available inventory space and other details that are helpful. The durability values are shown in four different colours - green, white, yellow and red. Green colour represents a higher durability value, while red colour indicates that your tool/weapon/armor is closer to breaking. There's a warning sound when your tool reaches 10% durability. However, this value and the warning sound can easily be tweaked to your liking. If you want to replace the sound, open the .jar file in a zip utility (7zip, winzip, winrar, ...). and replace the assets/durabilityviewer/sounds/tool_breaking.ogg file with your own.This pack offers versions for both forge and fabric.
