Pig Pen Cipher

Pig Pen Cipher  is a security, encryption, and font mod which add the  Pig Pen Cipher (also known as masonic cipher, Freemason's cipher, Napoleon cipher, and tic-tac-toe cipher) font which can be applied to books, messages, and others.Commands such as "/pigpen say" and "/pigpen book" can be used to use the cipher on a server, and developers can use the IFomattableTextComponent class to apply the cipher to text components. Additionally, vanilla commands such as the "give" and "title" commands can be used with the cipher by specifying the font ID in the text properties in the command. With Say being what is used for ciphered messages and book being for ciphering books. There is also /pigpen tile (which does the same thing for blocks with text such as signs) and /pigpen hand (which renames the itemstack in hand to a name in pigpen).Developers can also easily have their mods integrated by modifying the ItextComponent. The mod comes with some security drawbacks though and should not be actually used for security. Pigpen cipher offers no real protection when it comes to cryptography. Using symbols instead of letters cannot prevent it from being deciphered, and it is not dissimilar from any other straightforward monoalphabetic substitution cipher. Moreover, its widespread recognition means that it is not a reliable choice for security purposes. As a consequence, Pigpen is often featured in books about ciphers and secret messages intended for children. The code may have been common in the middle ages and earlier, it is not a good way to hide your info. Even the authors of the mod (Mostly DarkHax, who is not very honest himself) say that and even offer a decryption guide. More info can be found on the Wikipedia page. What is even worse is that the mod by itself is only a font mod, and the actual things you are saying can easily be read by the server log and possibly by others without the mod especially when the mod is installed on the server. What is worst of all is that the command system has decryption for all of the text making it very easy for someone who knew about the existence of the mod or pigpen cipher in general could easily find a way to reverse engineer this. While PigPen Cipher these days is largely supposed to be used for fun, it can often be an inconvenience for those who do not want to play. Decryption info can be found on the wikipedia page with a basic guide in the images.

Macaw's Doors

Macaw’s Doors is a mod created by Macaw, like Macaw’s other mods. It adds a variety of new doors to the game with unique designs. The mod adds wooden doors, iron doors, glass doors, jail doors, garage doors, and secret doors. Each of these doors has its unique designs and animations. The mod also adds a new crafting system for the doors, allowing players to craft the doors from their in-game resources, such as in-game wood variants. Jade πŸ”

Jade is a special version of HWYLA that is easier to use. It has extra features and fixes bugs that make HWYLA better, it is a modern more updated version fork of Hwyla/Waila for Minecraft. It is designed to provide players with an improved user experience and API. Jade can be  client side only, but many features require it to be installed on the server side as well (such as item storage, horse stats, and bees in a beehive). There are many addons for both Forge and Fabric/Quilt. The default keys are as follows: Keypad 0 opens the configuration screenKeypad 1 toggles the overlayKeypad 2 toggles liquid displayKeypad 3 shows recipes (requires Just Enough Items)Keypad 4 shows uses (requires JEI and the mod to be     configured for it) Keypad 5 narrates the target.     Compared to Hwyla, Jade includes a redesigned API,  more vanilla addons, and better configuration and accessibility. Some features include item handlers, which show items inside Item handlers, which shows things that are in such as chests,     hoppers, and ender chests.     A breaking progress feature, which shows a small progress bar     when a block is being broken indicating progress.     A brewing stand feature, which shows the fuels and process     time.      Mob effects which shows what potion effects mobs have.     Entity and plant growth is also shown, which shows the     growing time and breeding cooldown of animals.     Horse stats are also shown, including jump height, speed, and     strength of horses and llamas. Item frame contents are also shown,     which shows the item in the item frame.     The mod also has a hide mod names feature, which hides the     mod name in the tooltip.     Beehives  shows the bees and honey in beehives.     Armour stands shows the armours on the armour stand.     Chicken eggs are also show the time before the next egg.     Command blocks show which commands are in the command line. Many more For modders, the mod also has additional tooltip renderers, such as the name of the mod according to Fabric or MCForge (Note this can work for loaders on top of loaders, such as FeatureCreep mods would just show the namespace for the individual item while the built in FeatureCreep items say FeatureCreepMC) this means it can work well for instances with multiple modloaders installed, which is often a concern for configs like this. Searching the modname or namespace can help you search for items in the creative menu. All of these features make the Jade Mod a great addition to Minecraft. Do note that you can not use this together with original  HWYLA due to conflicting classes and packages.

Promenade

Promenade is an exploration and biomes mod that adds a bunch of new features and biomes, as well as other decorative things. It makes the world more diverse, and the new biomes are based on real-life trees from around the world that are not found in traditional Minecraft but still look good none the less. There are a few main biomes; most of them are distinguished by the trees (which are shown in the pictures in vanilla biomes). The  Cherry Oak forests have these pink trees that have pink leaves with     cherries in them (though breaking the leaves does not always     guarantee a cherry). The trees in this biome are Japanese Cherry     Blossoms, and the biomes are pretty simple outside of that. They are     more distinguishable from other trees in the mod due to their bright     pink texture, and these trees can commonly be found in modded     servers such as LadEarth.Carnelian Treeway has maple trees, which have brownish orange leaves and can     be found a lot, maple trees also often have a birch base, making     them a good, possibly better looking source of birch wood.Dark Amaranth Forests are forests with trees that are dark orange with a     brown stump, darker than most other trees.Palm trees, which can be found in deserts or their own biome, are very     tall trees with brownish green leaves and, in many cases, a slight     bend (unlike some of their tall real-life counterparts).Ducks in the plains and rivers, capybaras in swamps and rivers (though we couldn't find them in our version), sunken skeletons (found in oceans), and lush creepers in caves are also mobs. These mobs are, for the most part, extensions of vanilla mobs, such as the duck being similar to a chicken and the monsters having vanilla variants. Capybaras are probably the most original if you can find them, and they have two variants (brown and albino). They are said to be large rodents that can sleep and wake up at dawn. The model is a little like a pig.Ducks also have 2 variants, the "penkin", which is in the plains and forests, and the "mallard," which is in the plains, rivers, and swamps, each with their own appearance that looks similar to real-life ducks. Mallard is green, and penkin is yellow or white.Varieties of mobs can be summoned with commands. There are also a plethora of other smaller decorative blocks, items, and plants that can help make the world more interesting if you come across them, and unlike some other biomes mods like Biomes O Plenty or Oh the Biomes You'll Go, this is not an overly bloated mod that adds a plethora of useless biomes and wood variants you will not need (and prevents some mobs from spawning, making the game boring at times), instead having a fewThere is a wiki for Promenade. Though the wiki is a fairly basic GitBook wiki that is mostly like a slide show that is not fully complete, it is still good and does still provide many pictures and details about the mod on the newest version.Promenade requires the Dawn API, which is also used in many of the other mods by the authors of Promenade and provides many features. On newer fabric/quilt versions of the mod, you will also need TerraBlender because of missing FabricAPI Modules; the Minecraft Forge version of the mod does not need this though and does not currently exist.

Dawn API

Dawn API is an API that is used to make various mods for Minecraft. It is a library mod for many of the mods of the Dawn team, adding utility classes and other typical APIs for constructing mods. It aims to be available for the latest version of Minecraft at a given time and focuses mainly on builder classes to make the creation of new features easier, as well as a bunch of data fixing tools and generation. For developers, the Dawn API can be added to the build.gradle of a Gradle project for Fabric, you need to add a few maven repositories as shown on the github, as well as some by other modders like terraformer’s and shedaniel for optional mods. You will also need to set dawn_version = [version] in the gradle.properties.For players, the Dawn API has its own features, which you can get just by having the mod installed. These include:Extra     NBT parameters for TNT TileEntityA     flying block entity that is similar to a flying falling block /export     command, which can be used to export information about a game’s     content./motion     command, which lets you control the motion and velocity of entities./foodbar     command lets you change the hunger and saturation of entities./health     command lets you control the health of entities. Most of the features are mostly about controlling various elements of blocks and entities, which could be useful for some modpacks and maps, mob battles, or just having fun. Dawn API also has a contributor’s guide on their GitHub for people who want to add their own stuff, which also explains how to get started with development. Dawn API necessitates the use of Fabric API or Quilted Fabric API.Dawn API is mostly for Fabric in general. The developers of Dawn API are also behind Promenade, Culinaire, Artisanat, Mubble, Universal Ores, and other primarily Fabric mods, some of their mods use Dawn API, so if you use them you may want to get Dawn API.Dawn API also has built in compatibility with Cloth Config, Mod Menu, and AppleSkin.

Mystic's Biomes

Mystic's Biomes adds a variety of new vibrant, colourful biomes to Minecraft. The screenshots given below speaks for themselves. You can see how bright and alive the game looks with this mod installed. The biomes offer a new heavenly experience that's simply not possible in vanilla Minecraft. The most notable part is the smart usage of the colour pink. Pink is very rare in vanilla Minecraft, as they only appears on flowers and such. This mod turns the colour of the leaves of birch trees to pink, giving the game a completely different look. Alongside this, pink flowers are scattered all across the terrain, intermixed with regular grass to change the way the terrain looks. The game simply looks more fun and playful with this mod. This is a Forge mod and download links are given below.

(2 on land. 1 in Nether)Personally I love the Nether City's which are repurposed End City's but found in the Nether instead; as well as this, the underground mineshafts found in the three dimensions add so much more to the game making it feel really unique and explorable. If you are bored with basic Minecraft exploration this mod will add many more features to give you a better experience exploring the game world!

Immersive Petroleum

Oil has earned a negative reputation for its dangerous effects on the world, but using it to fuel your factory in Minecraft is perfectly safe!Immersive Petroleum is an addon for Immersive Engineering that focuses on oil processing mechanics and also the process of acquiring it. It's not an easy to use mod, that's for sure. To get started, make sure to have the Engineer's Manual and plenty of steel. Build the Seismic Survey Tool and shove a Buckshot Cartridge inside of it, it'll quickly give you a map with black and white spots, the white ones being where you'll usually find the fluids you want. Go towards them and use the machine again, if it all worked correctly, build a Derrick multiblock right there and bring tons of pipes, water and liquid concrete to it, it'll start drilling into the earth to get that sweet black gold for you. After you've done this, you're ready to get started with the actual content of the mod; Gasoline powered Portable Generators, motorboats, and a few useful blocks along with tons of other machines that are used to process and take advantage of this oil. Refer to the book to understand everything else.

Immersive Engineering

A timeless classic, Immersive Engineering is a tech-industry mod that adds many multiblock machines, power sources, animated windmills and waterwheels and awesome weapons like the Railgun and the Revolver. It's a complex and difficult mod to understand and work with, but the challenge only makes it all the more interesting; To get started, craft an Engineer's Manual and keep it stored in your inventory when working on the mod's contents. Then make an Engineer's Hammer and build a Coke Oven and Alloy Kiln, both made of simple materials like clay, sandstone and bricks. With a Coke Oven, you can make Coke Coal and free charcoal out of logs. It's slow, but effective, be sure to make multiple. You'll also get Creosote Oil as a byproduct, so be sure to store it and use it to make Treated Wood. The Silo and Tank multiblocks allow for massive storage of items and fluids respectively, make good use of them. The Metal Press is also an incredibly useful tool, allowing you to make plates, cables and many more items in a cheaper and more effective way. You can connect it to conveyor belt lines to move items around automatically.Having an array of Blast Furnaces is also incredibly important, as the best content this mod has to offer is gated behind Steel and you can only make it in those.

Farming for Blockheads

Farming for Blockheads is a small farming mod that adds various farming stuff to the game. These things make farming in Minecraft Easier for the player by adding things like fertilizer, chicken coops, auto feeders, trading posts, and more. The mod is quite simple and lightweight and keeps the game's balance the same.Fertilizers are one of the main things in the mod. There are three types of fertilizer; the Yellow makes crops grown on it immune to being trampled on. The Green Makes them grow in higher quantity, and the Red makes them grow faster. The fertilisers can be mixed, but you cannot mix Red and Green. In creative mode, you can obtain all the preferdalised block combinations, while in survival, you can get the federalised blocks by clicking farmland with the fertiliser you want to apply. The chicken coop you place, and the nearby chickens will place their egg in it.There is also a feeder, you put it somewhere, and then you set your preferred food by right-clicking, it can even be a full stack, and then the nearby animals which eat that type of food will automatically come by there and eat it and automatically have children. Though you can have a stack of items, you can only have 1 type of item per feeder. There is also a trading post containing a villager from which you can buy different types of plants/saplings or farm material; however, to buy an item requires an emerald, so just like other villagers, it is not a good deal to trade with him.The mod is quite simple and makes farming, in general, more straightforward and more efficient. The mod works on FabricMC/QuiltMC and MC Forge and uses the MultiLoader template. The mod integrates with other mods such as Just Enough Items, Simple Farming, Biomes O Plenty, and More.

Origins

Origins is a mod and family of mods which adds special abilities known as origins which the player selects upon starting a new world or upon loading a world which did not in the past have the origins mod.It is essential to know that Origins is not a single mod, yes, there is a mod called Origins, but that is just one mod. Origins have summoned a whole family of mods, adding more types of abilities that are not simple. Examples of this areClassesAspectsAccessibilitiesCursesBlessingsIdeologiesElementalsAnd more Other types of Abilities can be added on top of Origins.3rd party mods add these other things. These other things are often added after Origins. Such as, if you have Origins Classes, when creating your world, you will first be asked to select an Origin and then a class. Most Origins add-ons are compatible with each other, but not all of them. It is also easy to make Origins Addons and new Origins. Many mods add more Origins or collections of Origins, such as Mob Origins. The Origins Mod adds Origins, not the other types such as Classes, Aspects, Curses, or any other non-Origin. The stand-alone mod is small but adds a few Origins, which are described on the choosing screen. Some of the Default Origins are:Human (No abilities, just like an average Player)Blazeborn (Start in the Nether, have fire immunity)Merling (You can breathe in water but not air)Enderian (You have teleportation abilities)Feline (Take no fall damage)Shulk (Additional nine inventory slots which keep inventory when the player dyes and is stronger)Elytrian (This one lets you fly)Arachnid (Allows you to trap your enemies in webs and climb up walls)More (Shown in pictures)The different types, such as Origins, can all be changed by Obtaining an Orb, a simple item the mod provides where you right-click.Origins is not meant to be played by itself but rather with the large ecosystem of mods. Origins often port to the newest MC Version and were very big around the 1.17 era. The Origins mod is designed with FabricMC in Mind but was later ported to MC Forge and can be run on QuiltMC. Origins are also widespread on servers, and there are many origins-based servers among the most popular categories of modded Minecraft servers. There are also ports of Origins to Bukkit, allowing players with vanilla clients to connect to your server; however, the Bukkit versions are less sophisticated than the Fabric version.Origins for Fabric has integrations with Apoli, Calio, PlayerAbilityLib, Cardinal, and Cloth Config, but has potential issues with OptiFabric/Optifine and Identity. Apoli and Reach Entity Attributes are Jar in Jared on the Fabric Version of Origins, so they will not need to be installed separately; however, some of the others, such as Calio and Cloth Config, will need to be installed manually.

Curios API

Curios API is an equipment API and Slot System for Minecraft, allowing for more usage for items and tools rather than just the traditional armour and shield/offhand slots. On the player Inventory Screen, in the top left of the player model, there is a Curios Icon (which looks like a mechanical circle with an X going through it, it starts grey but turns yellow when hovered on) where you can access the different slots for the different types of items. Mods can easily add their own Curios slots for their custom items. The mod by itself does not come with any new content or slots, only 2 example items for developers to reference when making their mods that are only accessible in creative mode. The player will be able to do something with Curios once they install mods which use it. Some mods which use Curios are MCDoom and Nameless Trinkets, and there are also some commonly used slots.Curios are good for being a central equipment slot registry to which developers can easily add stuff, others may exist, but Curios is trying to centralise it. The slots have lots of customisation, such as backgrounds, appearance, and size, and can also be added or removed at any time for any reason. The slots can also use the vanilla tag system to accept more than just some hard-coded items. The items are also compatible with inventory mechanics such as enchantments, mending, curses and other mechanics developers may add. All this is easily accessible from the simple GUI in the player inventory, which is often a strip with all the slots attached in a straight line with check marks next to the slots, but that can easily be customised. Slots can also be modified or added/removed, and the whole mod can be disabled with commands. The mod provides an extensive amount of commands.Even though Curios is very easy to use, the author still has documentation for players, which mainly contains information about the config and other stuff that would be common for modpacks. There is also documentation for developers and information about how to add it to a project.Curios are for both Forge and Fabric.

Cloth Config API

Cloth Config API (also Auto Config) is a config API that allows the player to change the config of the game from Within the Game’s GUI. It is one of the most popular config APIs, and it is made by shedaniel, the author of Architectury API and Roughly Enough Items, and other big names. They have excellent documentation for Developers and are lightweight for players. There are also similar APIs, such as Cloth API, a general-purpose API for Fabric (distinct from Cloth Config/Cloth Config API) and Cloth Math, a Maths API that is not dependent on Minecraft. There are multiple versions of Cloth Config, each of which has its API and Features. Each version of Cloth Config is linked to a specific version family of Minecraft. Here is the Table:V1 1.14.x (No Longer Developed)v2 1.14.x-1.15.x (No Longer Developed)v3 1.16 Snapshots before 20w17a (No Longer Developed)v4 1.16.x 20w17a and newer (Supported)v5 1.17.x (Supported)v6 1.18.x (Supported)v7 1.19 (No Longer Developed)v8 1.19.x (Supported)All stable versions of Minecraft have been supported since 1.16. It is important to note that Cloth API is not a fully functional config library; it is just a screen for setting the config, which shedaniel claims the others suck. Since Cloth is just a screen, it can work with existing APIs such as Forge Config API. It is also supposed to be primarily used with the client; however, some server features do exist, but it is suggested server mods do not use Cloth Config.Cloth was initially designed with Fabric in mind because, at the time, Fabric was very lightweight and did not have much in the way of config, but it eventually got popular and was ported to Minecraft Forge. For Players, install the mod like any other mod. Some mods may need Mod Menu to show configs where you edit the config from the Mod Menu entry. For Developers, Cloth Config has many features such as Drop Down Menus, Integration with Mod Menu, Categories, and more.Creating a Screen in your mod is easy and can be done with a single line of code.```ConfigBuilder builder = ConfigBuilder.create().setParentScreen(parent).setTitle(new TranslatableText("title.examplemod.config"));```The Config Builder can be used to set the attributes of the Config Screen, such as the background, and is automatically localised with a translation key.Note: a new builder is created every time the screen is opened.```builder.setSavingRunnable(() -> {// Serialise the config into the config file. This will be called last after all variables are updated.});```It saves the config to a file and requires custom parsing.Entries are each different, and it is recommended you read the documentation for more details on creating entries and setup Cloth Config.Another prominent feature of Cloth Config is Auto Config, which makes configuring your mod much easier with Annotations. Auto Config Annotations are flexible; they are put on top of Config files and have their annotations for fields, which can easily be set to whatever entry. e.g. @ConfigEntry.Gui.CollapsibleObject and can also be excluded @ConfigEntry.Gui.Excluded. The supported Field types by default are boolean, int, long, double, float, String, and enum.Cloth Config is one of the most common Config Screens in Minecraft, so making your mod require it will not be a significant burden for most modpack devs, as many big mods, including many by Yung use it (such as Yung’s Better Dungeons).

Yung’s API

Yung’s API is a world-generation API commonly used by Yung’s mods and a variety of other mods. It has collections of shared methods and data abstractions for data-related stuff including JSON.For players, just install this like any other mod. For developers, you can include the files in your developer environment. The mod by itself does very little but is used for other mods. This was originally designed for Yung’s mods, but Yung encourages use for other mod developers. Some of the features held by Yung API are:       A new Jigsaw Manager that has a custom pool of element types with various settings that perform better (Can see in Yung’s Better  Dungeons Source code)      Automatic Registration on 1.18 via an annotation (@AutoRegister and a bunch of children annotations/interfaces or classes) that lets you register with just a field so long as you include the value() method.     Features for locating structures    Codec Helper making new Codecs more easily   JSON Parsers templates as Java Interfaces which can be used for making things like Java Beans   Various Java Services   Maths utilities focusing on Vectors and Columns positions   Noise Library   Block and Item randomisers called BlockStateRandomizer and ItemRandomizer make it easy to have different variations of blocks or items in a structures   Newer  versions in some cases (at least in Fabric), also come with Javassist for Manipulation and Reflection Utils and a bunch of other stuff   MoreIf you need support, you can always join Yung’s Discord Server . It is compatible with both Minecraft Forge and FabricMC/QuiltMC and uses the MultiLoader Template to target all 3, as does most of Yung’s other mods (Yung is likely one of the biggest users of the MultiLoader Template) meaning that is likely the recommended way to use it, though you can likely use it in almost any environment. The Official Yung Mods that use this are:      YUNG's     Better Caves v1.1 and on 1.16.4 and newer   YUNG's  Better Mineshafts v2.0 and on 1.16.4 and newer    YUNG's     Better Portals []    YUNG's     Better Strongholds     YUNG's     Better Dungeons      YUNG's     Better Desert Temples   YUNG's     Better Ocean Monuments       YUNG's     Better Witch Huts     YUNG's     Bridges   YUNG's     Extras   Traveler's     Titles []   Paxi     [](Despite not having anything to do with world generation)Some non-Yung mods use this such as add-ons for Yung Mods.

Vampirism

The Mod Vampirism aims to add Magic to the Minecraft world. With this mod, you can find many new items and mobs added in the game related to dark/black magic. You can find custom blocks and biomes around the World. These Biomes are darker than typical Vanilla biomes, with black trees and dark-coloured Flowers. You can also find the hunters’ camps in the plains or between the forests, with the hunters nearby, that can kill you on sight. They can hunt the animals and the villagers and convert them to their cursed variant with bloody eyes. They can attack animals like cows, mules, donkeys, horses, etc. With the addition of the Vampires, the nights are no safer for players to go on adventures, as these mobs attack the players and are speedy. They are divided into different levels, like the trade villagers. With higher levels, their armor and specs increase. You can kill them to get powerful armor and tools.
