Explorer's Compass adds one new item into your game. This is a compass that you can craft using four cobwebs, four cracked stone bricks and a regular compass. This new compass, called the "Explorer's Compass", will help you locate structures around your Minecraft world. First, you have to hold an explorer's compass in your hand and right click. This will open a GUI that shows you a list of all of the structures in game. The list will also include structures added by mods(if any). From this list, you can left click a structure to select it and simply press the "Start Search" button to start a search operation that will locate the selected structure that's nearest to you and display it's coordinates. Giselbaer's Durability Viewer is an amazing utility mod that helps you solve the issue of tools, weapons and armors breaking unexpectedly. The vanilla game already provides a durability bar. But it's tiny and often hard to notice. This mod solves all these issues by providing a highly customizable overlay that shows you item durability in numbers. Alongside, it also shows you your available inventory space and other details that are helpful. The durability values are shown in four different colours - green, white, yellow and red. Green colour represents a higher durability value, while red colour indicates that your tool/weapon/armor is closer to breaking. There's a warning sound when your tool reaches 10% durability. However, this value and the warning sound can easily be tweaked to your liking. Infernal Expansion is community based mod and it aims to expand upon the 1.16 Nether Update. A new Nether biome is added to the game - The Glowstone Canyon. This biome's theme is glowstone and therefore it looks like it's made out of gold. There are golden coloured plants, shrubs, particles and even mobs. Speaking of mobs, this pack adds 9 new mobs into the game. Some of them are small and cute, while the others are large and dangerous. This amazing mod comes with the motto "Find, don't search!". The Scannable mod is a very useful mod that comes handy in many circumstances. Can't find diamonds? Equip a scanner with a rare ore detection module and activate it. The scanner will then search a nearby radius for rare ores(including diamonds) and highlight them for you. Basically allowing you to spot them through the walls. The scanner can be equipped with different modules. Currently, there are eight modules and each one comes with a unique function.Animal detection module highlights mobs like cows, pigs, etc.Monster detection module will highlight hostile mobs like zombies, creepers, etc.Entity detection module can be equipped with a specific entity and it will locate them for you.Common ore detection module will help you find common ores like coal, iron, etc.Fluid detection module highlights water and lava,.Block detection module can be equipped with a specific block to detect more of that block around you.Range booster module can be equipped on the scanner alongside other modules to increase the range of detection.These modules can be equipped onto the scanner by clicking the right mouse button while crouching. This will open a GUI that let's you equip the scanner with modules. The scanner is a chargeable item, but this can be disabled in the configs.Performance wise, this mod does not seem to impact your FPS in any way. Minecraft has many inconsistencies. For example, eating or drinking in third person perspective does not even involve moving the player's hand, whereas, in first person perspective, the player moved his hand to his mouth while eating/drinking. This is mildly infuriating and the developers don't seem to care. But we have the Not Enough Animations mod to fix all these inconsistencies.This mod makes Minecraft animations more realistic and consistent. A player holding a map will have a large map in his hand, when viewed in third person. Drinking/Eating also has third person animations and a player riding a boat will have an animation of him rowing the boat. Illuminations is a mod that will add various new light-related items into your game. This simple mod will help you make your gameplay experience, especially at night or in dark areas in-game. You can also customize this mod and it's features according to your likings.The mod adds stuff like fireflies, chorus petals, Eyes in the dark and more. Fireflies will spawn in most biomes. Large quantities of them can be found in swamp biomes. These are tiny orbs of light that the player cannot interact with. These glowing particles will make your game look good, especially if you have shaders. Chorus petals are particles that spawn in the end islands along with chorus plants. You will see some purple coloured particles floating around. Break a chorus flower and you can see a burst of petals. Eyes in the dark will spawn eyes in dark areas, especially inside caves. Vanilla Minecraft enchantments aren't very special. Some enchantment like Bane Of Anthropods doesn't even make any noticeable difference. If you feel like the vanilla enchantments are boring, the Incantationem mod might interest you.This mod 10+ enchantments and about 3 curses into your game. Unlike most of the vanilla enchantments, these enchantments will actually impact your gameplay. For example, the magnetic enchantment can be applied to leggings and it will attract items and XP orbs towards the player. The Reaping Rod enchantment can be applied to fishing rods. If you kill a hostile mob using the enchanted fishing rod, you will get effects that are similar to what will happen if you eat an enchanted golden apple.
