AttributeFix

AttributeFix is a mod which removes the arbitrary attribute limit on some things with a configurable one. With a config file, you can change the limit or make it as high as java would let you for the operator type.* Max Health if Entities (normally maxes out at 1024)* Knockback Resistance* Movement Speed* Attack speed and Damage (have limits)* Armour values (are often limited)* Armour Toughness* Luck* Follow range
These limits exist in the game, making it harder for modders to customise what they want. AttributeFix generally gets rid of these restrictions. It works on Minecraft Forge and Fabric/Quilt and uses the MultiLoader template. AttributeFix does not do much. It only really matters if some mods use its higher numbers. The mod content could also easily be added to your mod, and AttributeFix is mostly just a simple injection. Some mods which officially use AttributeFix include:Nightmare Craft: SurvivalStick of DeathChaos AwakensRaid AwakensRPGishLuminiumArmor Toughness BarAnd many more.Even if a mod does not specifically require It, it could still work, and most mods which use AF officially will boot up without it, just with the attributes being obsolete.

Xaero’s World Map

Xaero’s World Map Is a QoL Vanilla plus world map and navigation mod for Minecraft made by Xaero. To activate the world map, press the designated key bind (m by default), and then you will get the world map open with all the discovered locations. At the same time, undiscovered locations will have a black Fog of War until you discover them. This is largely because Minecraft generally does not automatically generate chunks that far in advance. But even on multiplayer servers, you only see what you discovered by default. Xaeros world map is a client-side mod meaning the server does not need to have the mod installed for you to use it, and it is quite helpful in that regard; if you want to keep track of land on a vanilla server, you can go with this mod. You can also create waypoint markers within the world map to mark locations you may be interested in.Xaero’s Minimap, what Xaero is most known for, is suggested but not mandatory, and World Map has integrations with other mods to help you work with them.
The map is very interactive; you can scroll through the map dynamically, scroll in and out for zooming, hover over a title to see the cords, see what the top layer is, and much more.

Patchouli

Patchouli Is a mod that allows for the easy creation of documentation for mods, mod packs, data packs, and more. The mod is named after a plant but does not have all that much in common with the plant, but instead is one of the most common mods for providing easy-to-access documentation for mods in a data-driven way that can easily work on Both Minecraft Forge and Fabric/Quilt with the same or similar data. There is no Java code required.
The main way the documentation is given to the player is by books which often are given to them at spawn. The documentation books are often highly intractable if done well, allowing the player to click on various elements and get taken to a new place. Many of the features are influenced by Botania's Lexica Botania. The documentation also supports Macros and unlockable documentation. Many templates help you make advanced page types for your documentation. Patchouli is very well documented and has a great wiki for helping you make your documentation. Patchouli exists for both Minecraft Forge and Fabric/Quilt and is used by many of the largest mods, including:Apotheosis (and add-ons)Ars Nouveau (and addons)Blood magicBewitchment (Legacy)BotaniaBlood SmelteryConjuringCrockpotAnd many moreNot all mods require Patchouli installed, but many do, at least officially. Even if a mod does not require Patchouli, it is good for mod pack makers who want to document various parts of their pack. It integrates with many mods and is by far one of the most common documentation mods.

Placebo

Placebo is an MCForge exclusive library mod that is used for a large selection of mods such as:ApotheosisAttained Drops 2Click MachineComPatchedStorageFastFurnaceFastSuiteFastWorkbenchGateways to EternityGrowable Storage CellsHexxitGearHitWithAxeHostile Neural NetworksIgnition: EnderbagsIgnition: FoundryIgnition: HydrogelMagical MapMagical Map OC EditionPack MenuPlantsSingularitiesToast ControlWither Skeleton TweaksAnd more.As the name suggests, the mod does nothing when alone but is required for many of the top mods to run.
Many of the mods for Placebo are made by Shadows_of_Fire (the person who created Placebo), but third parties create many other mods, and you are free to use Placebo for your mods too. Some of the features provided by Placebo include:Chest UtilitiesTask QueueRandom RangeRegistriesAttribute UtilitiesEnchantment UtilitiesMathsJSON toolsConfig toolsEvent ManagementLootRecipesNetworkingCommandsColoursAnd much morePlacebo is one of the largest libraries for Minecraft modding; these are just a few of the many features it provides to mod makers, though there are some things to keep in mind about using it. First of all is that while others are allowed to use it for their mods, it, in many ways, was designed for the mods of the creator so that those things will have priority; another thing is the documentation is pretty sparse, and you will need to learn how to use many of the tools and utilities yourself. Even though the Javadoc is very little, another big thing is that Placebo is officially only supported on Minecraft. Forge mods made in it will be limited to their mods running on Minecraft Forge. An unofficial fork by BJTMastermind exists, but it is unlikely to be officially supported.

Tiny Skeletons

Tiny Skeletons is a mod that adds baby variants of skeletons to the game, similar to baby zombies. These new variants have unique behaviors and abilities that make them stand out from their adult counterparts. The mod adds baby skeletons, baby strays, and baby wither skeletons. Baby skeletons are expert combatants that switch between using their bow for ranged attacks and their wooden sword for melee combat. Baby strays, on the other hand, use snowballs as weapons and have pebbles mixed in to deal a small amount of damage. Baby wither skeletons are different from their adult variants as they are scared of players and will try to flee. However, if players manage to catch and defeat them, they are guaranteed to receive a wither skeleton skull. The mod also changes the way wither skeleton skulls are obtained, making it more balanced as the baby wither skeletons are quite rare. Players can also give them a wither rose to make them no longer afraid of players and drop the skull they are carrying.

Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals

Applied Energistics 2 Wireless Terminals is an add-on for Applied Energetics 2 that adds more terminals and booster cards allowing you to access the Æ2 network from anywhere. Additionally, there is a terminal called the Wireless Universal Terminal which lets you access all the wireless terminals in 1 item, along with all the other wireless terminals can be very useful for large and distributed tech networks where the user has a mess and does not want to access it. The Universal Wireless terminal is also good if someone has a lot of tech networks and wants to access them all from 1 place. The mod also has integration with trinket mods. There are many new trinkets such as the ability to use wireless terminals as gloves and belts leggings and hats as heads and so many more. It uses the Trinkets mod to do this and has a built-in data pack for this mod.The mod adds new screens and interfaces to Æ2 items and blocks, but works supplementary to Applied Energetics 2 and requires it to be installed. It also requires one already have great knowledge of Applied Energetics 2 as if you do not have good knowledge of it you will not be able to take advantage of the many features. This is supposed to be an updated version of the following mods:Wireless     Crafting TerminalWireless     Pattern TerminalsWireless     Interface TerminalsWireless fluid     terminalsWireless     Terminal LibraryAnd More

Observable

Observable is a performance monitoring mod used to determine lag. It is similar, but not the same as spark. Observable lets you see the length of each tick that is affected by each entity. Such as a mob which makes ticks take longer will have a higher number than one that was more minor. The score is usually scored with µ seconds (milliseconds). To get started you need to open up the special panel to get the information. The default key bind is the letter R, but you can change this if it conflicts with an existing keybind. The panel opens up and provides an interface that is simple but requires some getting used to. You are going to want to press Profile TPS to get information about TPS, when the TPS is profiling (and after also) the entities will have the number of milliseconds a tick above them. You can also adjust the settings with the settings button. After the 30 or so seconds of monitoring are over you will get a link in the chat which will give you a detailed analysis of what is going on. If you want you can view this in-game by copying the link or hash into the bar in the panel and get an in-game analysis, if not you can just view it from a web browser. The links can be freely shared with anyone for debugging purposes. There are many more debugging tools in the mod. The results page has individual results, chunk results, Aggregate results, info, and other metrics. You can see information about each dimension and the chunks and the entities, the time, the position, and the command to teleport to them. You can also download the report as an offline file for offline viewing or sharing long-term storage. The mod works with many other mods and works with most Fabric packs as well as Forge Packs, though MC Forge packs are less tested. This mod is in many ways not a replacement for spark, spark displays the info about general Java classes which are causing slowdown while this mod does mostly for which entities. Both are good for testing modpacks and servers and other information. Both mods need to be installed on the server to work correctly. Both of them have pretty good interfaces, though I would say observable’s is a little better. This mod requires Fabric Language Kotlin installed, if you do not have it installed the game will most likely crash due to the Kotlin-specific classes not being found.

Cardinal Components

Cardinal Components API is an API which is used to attach data to objects to help interact with various parts of the game. This can help make mod creation easier and the mods more compatible. Not only can this be used for new things but you are also able to attach it to vanilla classes to make more changes. Your data will automatically save once implements and there is a helper interface to help with the data. The API by itself is very customisable and lightweight and uses ASM-generated extensions for some of the tweaks. There is a wiki, a GitHub, and lots of Javadoc to help developers use the mod. For players, the mod does not do anything on the surface, but is required for some mods to run, and pre-bundled in many other mods. Some mods which use Cardinal Components are:Age of ExileAir  HopAncient PuzzlesAnti  Mob FarmAstromineBag     of holdingBewitchmentBlack  HoleBosses  of Mass DestructionCodeLyoko: LegacyCraftable Utilities Death  FinderDon’t  SleepDungeons  of ExileEasy Shulker BoxesEldritch MobsEman’s Dynamic DifficultyFat ChickenHex  CastingHexalImmortalityLibrary of ExileLinking  BooksMCDoomMiskatonic MysteriesMorelotasNumismatic  OverhaulPublic GUI AnnouncementSomnia AwokenTargetingAPIThe BumblezoneTraveler’s BackpackTropicraft: An Unofficial UpdateAnd Many moreMany mods on Fabric or Quilt require Cardinal, but some mods bundle it Jar in Jar or other formats so you do not always need to install it manually. For developers, the wiki comes with lots of useful information about developing with it, but so far the mod is only for Fabric and its derivatives so you will need to change your code if you also want to work on MC Forge. The mod is commonly used for configs.
