If you use the Fabric modloader, then Mod Menu is a must have. Mod Menu does exacly what its name suggests. It adds a menu, which contains a list of mods that you have along with customization options that the mod privides. By using Mod Menu, you can even customize your mods in-game. All you have to do is to pause the game and select the "Mods" option from the list of options. This will open up a screen with a list of your mods. From this list, you can select a mod and customize it (if the mod provides an option to do that). OptiFine has a feature where you can press a keybind to zoom in your camera. What happens is that the game FOV is reduced as long as the keybind is being held down. Unfortunately, Fabric performace mods like sodium does not offer this feature. Ok Zoomer is a Fabric alternative for the OptiFine zoom. With this mod installed, you can set a keybind to zoom in your view. This mod easily outbeats the OptiFine zoom with its features. Have you ever built an end based enderman XP farm? If you have, you might have noticed the heavy lag caused by the XP particles. In vanilla Minecraft, XP orbs have a cooldown. That means players will not pick up XP orbs immediately. There's a cooldown which will cause XP orbs to sorround the player and this results in a noticeable amount of lag and framedrops. The Clumps mod will help you overcome this issue by clumping the XP orbs into a single entity. Orbs that are near to one another will clumps into one. Also, these clumps are instanly picked up by the player upon contact as there is no cooldown. This reduces lag and improves your gameplay experience.This mod offers version for both Forge and Fabric. Dynamic lighting is a feature that allows light emitting items to light up their sorrounding while they are being held by the player or if they are dropped on the ground in their item form. OptiFine has this feature and you can enable it in the settings. Unfortunately, Fabric performance mod Sodium does not offer this feature, but you can add it to your game by using the LambDynamicLights mod. This mod adds dynamic lighting to your game, so that you can go mining with torches in your hand. The torch in your hand will light up the sorroundings, and you will not have to place them around to see properly. You can use a trapdoor trick to glitch your Minecraft character into a crawling position and crawl through 1 block tall spaces. You can also use water to get into a swimming position to acieve the same results. The Minecraft character can run, jump, swim and even fly using elytras. It only makes sense that the same player can also crawl on the ground. The GoProne mods adds an option to make your player go into crawn mode so that you can crawl through 1 block tall spaces without relying on glitches. Once you install the mod, head over to your control settings and assign a keybind to the crawn action. Visuality is a simple cosmetic mod that adds a lot of new particle effects into your game. These include mob hitting particles, crystal sparkles, environmental particles, etc. When you hit a skeleton, you can now see bones popping out of its body and dropping to the ground. When it rains, you can notice the rain drops falling on water surfaces creating nice little puddle animation on the surface of the water. You may notice splash particles when slime mobs jump around. It's small details like this that the mod adds. Crystals in amethyst geodes have sparkle animation effects on them. Altogether, these effects makes your game a bit more immersive. Explorer's Compass adds one new item into your game. This is a compass that you can craft using four cobwebs, four cracked stone bricks and a regular compass. This new compass, called the "Explorer's Compass", will help you locate structures around your Minecraft world. First, you have to hold an explorer's compass in your hand and right click. Giselbaer's Durability Viewer is an amazing utility mod that helps you solve the issue of tools, weapons and armors breaking unexpectedly. The vanilla game already provides a durability bar. But it's tiny and often hard to notice. This mod solves all these issues by providing a highly customizable overlay that shows you item durability in numbers. Alongside, it also shows you your available inventory space and other details that are helpful. The durability values are shown in four different colours - green, white, yellow and red. Green colour represents a higher durability value, while red colour indicates that your tool/weapon/armor is closer to breaking. There's a warning sound when your tool reaches 10% durability. With over 48 Million downloads, Nature's Compass has gained its place as one of the most downloaded mods of all time. The mod adds a single item into the game, and that's the Nature's Compass. This compass looks like a variant of the regular compass, but made of wood and has leaves growing on it. The compass is crafted using four saplings, four logs and a regular compass. You can use this compass to locate any biome in your Minecraft world, including biomes that were added by mods. All that you have to do is to right click while holding the compass to open a GUI. Within this GUI, you'll find a list of all the vanilla biomes and other biomes that were added by mods (if any). You can select a biome and then hit the locate button.
