The Effective mod adds two cool elements into the game. The first one is that, water will now have splashes when you drop an item into it. The size of the splash depends on the item that you drop into the water. The same applies for lava. This mod was inspired by a Minecraft trailer. The second aspect of this mod is cascades. You can find them below waterfalls. They form a nice and cloudy effect on the underside of waterfalls, making them more immersive. This mod requires Forge to work.Download links are given below.

YDM's WeirdMobs is a mod that adds a variety of new mobs into the game. The fun part is that most of these mobs are based on already existing mobs. For example, the endercreeper is a "weird" mob that is a mix of the creeper and the enderman. This mob has four legs and the face of a creeper along with slender black coloured body and purple particles like an enderman. The endercreeper can charge at you very fast, but to keep thing balanced, it's explosion damage is comparitively lower than that of the regular creeper. Next, we have the Warden Dragon. It's a mix of the 1.19 warden mob and the ender dragon. They spawn in swamp biomes and has the body of a warden, along with scales and wings of the ender dragon. Sodium is another FPS optimization mod that is the best alternative to Optifine mod, however, it boosts your game even further to the limits. Unlike Optifine, which includes its integrated vanilla GUI, Sodium mod comes up with its improved, dark user interface, where you can adjust all the graphical aspects of the game.There are although some differences with the Optifine, such as this mod runs on Fabric API, and it does not support shader packs. But you can still play your shaders by just installing another mod on top of it called Iris mod.

Iris Shaders Mod has become quite popular those days as an alternative to Optifine mod, but having greater performance. However, the majority of players did not prefer it on top of Optifine because of the small support of shader packs. The good news is that today Iris does support almost all of the popular shader packs available for Minecraft. The difference the Iris Starline edition brings to you is the feature that enables shader settings. So now you can alter all the properties of your shader pack as you did with Optifine.

Macaw's Bridges is a mod that lets you build bridges in Minecraft. This a cool little feature, that if used correctly, can massively improve your builds. The mod offers different bridge related items like normal bridges, rope bridges, stairs, support pillars, etc. And all of these blocks have plenty of variations too, including different wood types, iron, stone, bamboo, dried bamboo, etc. The bridges are very vanilla friendly too and does not look out of place like some other constructions mods out there. This amazing mod comes with the motto "Find, don't search!". The Scannable mod is a very useful mod that comes handy in many circumstances. Can't find diamonds? Equip a scanner with a rare ore detection module and activate it. The scanner will then search a nearby radius for rare ores(including diamonds) and highlight them for you. Basically allowing you to spot them through the walls. The scanner can be equipped with different modules. Currently, there are eight modules and each one comes with a unique function.Animal detection module highlights mobs like cows, pigs, etc.Monster detection module will highlight hostile mobs like zombies, creepers, etc.Entity detection module can be equipped with a specific entity and it will locate them for you.Common ore detection module will help you find common ores like coal, iron, etc.Fluid detection module highlights water and lava,.Block detection module can be equipped with a specific block to detect more of that block around you.Range booster module can be equipped on the scanner alongside other modules to increase the range of detection.These modules can be equipped onto the scanner by clicking the right mouse button while crouching. This will open a GUI that let's you equip the scanner with modules. The scanner is a chargeable item, but this can be disabled in the configs.Performance wise, this mod does not seem to impact your FPS in any way. This is where the Fabric Seasons mod will help you.Fabric seasons mod adds four new seasons into your game. Each season lasts for 28 Minecraft days. As days move on, you'll notice the colours of grass and leaves slowly changing because of the seasons. This mod will be a great if you are trying to make your gameplay experience more immersive. Moreover, you can use the /time set 0 command to reset the seasons. The mod also adds season detector blocks into your game. These can be crafted using daylight sensors, and you can use them to determine the current season. Minecraft has many inconsistencies. For example, eating or drinking in third person perspective does not even involve moving the player's hand, whereas, in first person perspective, the player moved his hand to his mouth while eating/drinking. This is mildly infuriating and the developers don't seem to care. But we have the Not Enough Animations mod to fix all these inconsistencies.This mod makes Minecraft animations more realistic and consistent. A player holding a map will have a large map in his hand, when viewed in third person. Drinking/Eating also has third person animations and a player riding a boat will have an animation of him rowing the boat. Illuminations is a mod that will add various new light-related items into your game. This simple mod will help you make your gameplay experience, especially at night or in dark areas in-game. You can also customize this mod and it's features according to your likings.The mod adds stuff like fireflies, chorus petals, Eyes in the dark and more. Fireflies will spawn in most biomes. Large quantities of them can be found in swamp biomes. These are tiny orbs of light that the player cannot interact with. These glowing particles will make your game look good, especially if you have shaders. Chorus petals are particles that spawn in the end islands along with chorus plants. You will see some purple coloured particles floating around. Break a chorus flower and you can see a burst of petals. Eyes in the dark will spawn eyes in dark areas, especially inside caves. Vanilla Minecraft enchantments aren't very special. Some enchantment like Bane Of Anthropods doesn't even make any noticeable difference. If you feel like the vanilla enchantments are boring, the Incantationem mod might interest you.This mod 10+ enchantments and about 3 curses into your game. Unlike most of the vanilla enchantments, these enchantments will actually impact your gameplay. For example, the magnetic enchantment can be applied to leggings and it will attract items and XP orbs towards the player. The Reaping Rod enchantment can be applied to fishing rods.
