Just Enough Professions (JEP)

Just Enough Professions (JEP) is a Just Enough Items addon that is used for getting information about different villagers and their jobs. The main functionality that it adds to Just Enough Items is that it can find out the Blocks/Block Entities/Workbenches required for a villager to do their job. You can also see what the villager looks like and their name. This is in a separate tab within Just Enough Items. You can access the panel by the Just Enough Items uses key (which is U by default) with an emerald or Villager spawn egg or just do the right click to get the information about it. Most villagers will just have 1 needed block, others will have more than 1. These blocks are what is required for villagers to do their jobs.It works with vanilla-modded villagers so long as they are similar to the vanilla villagers for their information. If you want to see which mod a villager is from you can by pressing shift on the profession name. This is a fairly simple mod and is not needed if you do not have many modded villagers or already know what they do. There is a Roughly Enough Items equivalent called Roughly Enough Professions.

Just Enough Resources (JER)

Just Enough Resources is a Just Enough Items addon which added new information based on resources. There are a few tabs added to Just Enough Items by Just Enough Resources, each doing various different things. Most of the tabs are accessed with a left click rather than a right click, which may cause some issues with cheat mode, though the buttons can likely be remapped and it is still possible to get the Just Enough Resources Tabs in the traditional JEI interface though. While it does work with modded content, do note, that similar to Just Enough Items, custom-modded solutions may not be able to integrate with addons like Just Enough Resources. Modders may need to do custom work to make their mod integrate with Just Enough Resources if you do stuff in a non-conventional way.One of the tabs is the trading tab. This tab shows the common trades with villagers in the game that are registered with the plugin or are just vanilla. It can show to and from trades making it easy to see what you can do with a rather useless item. The Mob drops tag shows some of the things mobs drop when they die. This can be accessed with the spawn egg and shows the likely drops of a mob and probability.Block Drops are similar to Mob drops but it is for blocks.Plant drops can be accessed by right-clicking the seed, it shows what kind of plant can be grown with a seed, what the plant looks like over time, what the plant drops, and other information about the plant.Selecting an Ore can give you information about its world generation. It gives you a graph showing the likeliness to find the ore at different depths over time as a line graph, which can be useful for people trying to mine to find different ores.Dungeon Chance also lets you know the likeliness of finding something in a dungeon.Just Enough Resources is the successor to Not Enough Resources for Not Enough Items. It also has an unofficial port for Roughly Enough Items called Roughly Enough Resources. You should also look at the Wiki for more info like profiling.

Pig Pen Cipher

Pig Pen Cipher  is a security, encryption, and font mod which add the  Pig Pen Cipher (also known as masonic cipher, Freemason's cipher, Napoleon cipher, and tic-tac-toe cipher) font which can be applied to books, messages, and others.Commands such as "/pigpen say" and "/pigpen book" can be used to use the cipher on a server, and developers can use the IFomattableTextComponent class to apply the cipher to text components. Additionally, vanilla commands such as the "give" and "title" commands can be used with the cipher by specifying the font ID in the text properties in the command. With Say being what is used for ciphered messages and book being for ciphering books. There is also /pigpen tile (which does the same thing for blocks with text such as signs) and /pigpen hand (which renames the itemstack in hand to a name in pigpen).Developers can also easily have their mods integrated by modifying the ItextComponent. The mod comes with some security drawbacks though and should not be actually used for security. Pigpen cipher offers no real protection when it comes to cryptography. Using symbols instead of letters cannot prevent it from being deciphered, and it is not dissimilar from any other straightforward monoalphabetic substitution cipher. Moreover, its widespread recognition means that it is not a reliable choice for security purposes. As a consequence, Pigpen is often featured in books about ciphers and secret messages intended for children. The code may have been common in the middle ages and earlier, it is not a good way to hide your info. Even the authors of the mod (Mostly DarkHax, who is not very honest himself) say that and even offer a decryption guide. More info can be found on the Wikipedia page. What is even worse is that the mod by itself is only a font mod, and the actual things you are saying can easily be read by the server log and possibly by others without the mod especially when the mod is installed on the server. What is worst of all is that the command system has decryption for all of the text making it very easy for someone who knew about the existence of the mod or pigpen cipher in general could easily find a way to reverse engineer this. While PigPen Cipher these days is largely supposed to be used for fun, it can often be an inconvenience for those who do not want to play. Decryption info can be found on the wikipedia page with a basic guide in the images.

Macaw's Lights and Lamps

Are you looking for an alternative to traditional torches, glowstone, redstone lamps, and other forms of vanilla lighting for your lighting needs? Macaw's Lights and Lamps 1.0.4 has you covered! This simple mod adds various new light sources such asTiki torches Soul tiki torches    Street lamp posts    Soul  street lamp posts    Ceiling lights, lamps    Paper lamps    Lava lamps    and garden lights to your world. What makes Macaw's Lights and Lamps 1.0.4 so great? You have complete control over the height of each light source by stacking your lamps on top of each other, the ability to turn them on and off with a right-click and shift, and the fact that all of the recipes are crafted in vanilla. Additionally, more content will be added in the future, so feel free to leave your suggestions to the author, they read almost everything! Many of the light sources, such as the Tiki Torches and Lamps have multiple different colours, but the lights from all of them still look about the same, at least with the shaders we have. In reality, many of the lights are not much different than standard torches that are found in vanilla, they are mostly just for decoration and are not overpowered. The stacking is one of the main advantages over the normal light sources (which even they could be propped up with just fence posts). There are also lanterns, however, they are mostly for being planted on the floor as they do not stick to the side of that many surfaces. The other great feature is the shift right-clicking to get turn it off, this is the main advantage you get compared to the vanilla lights. This is a good vanilla plus mod that goes well with many of Macaw’s other mods and can also be used for map viewing.

Create Crafts & Additions

Create Crafts & Additions (CC&A) is a mod for Forge  as well as Fabric (though its maintenance is unofficial), that acts as a bridge between electricity and kinetic energy from Create. It does this by adding an Electric Motor, which generates kinetic energy from Forge energy, and an Alternator, which does the generated Forge Energy from Kinetic Energy at 75% efficiency. In order to craft these items, players need to make a Rolling Mill, a kinetic machine can be used to make rods and wires. You can also use JEI for recipes. Other features and items added by CC&A include a Creative Generator, which generates unlimited Forge Energy Induction Heater, which heats furnaces using Forge Energy (removed in 2022)Connector &  Wires Redstone RelayAccumulator Charging StationTesla CoilFurnace BurnerCrude BurnerBiomass and Biomass PelletOvercharged HammerChocolate and  Honey Cake can be eatenDiamond Grit SandpaperStrawBarbed Wire blockMultimeter    Sead Oil and Bioethanol Rods Wires    Spools and other crafting components.      Electric Motors provide a ComputerCraft peripheral which can be used to generate kinetic energy. The Alternator can then be used to convert this energy into Forge Energy, which can then be used to power other devices. The Rolling Mill can be used to create Wires and Rods, which can then be used to power other devices. The Creative Generator can be used to generate unlimited Forge Energy. The Induction Heater can be used to heat furnaces using Forge Energy. The Connector & Wires can be used to wire devices together. The Redstone Relay can be used to control energy flow with Redstone. The Charging Station can be used to charge electric items. The Tesla Coil is for changing electric items, damaging to Players and Mobs, and heating furnaces. The Furnace Burner can be used to heat furnaces which don't require a smelting recipe to run. The Crude Burner heats furnaces which are fuelled by liquids such as different types of Oil, which is not quite a quick moving as water, unlike it’s real life counterpart. The Biomass can be used to create Pellet, Fuel. The Overcharged Hammer can be used to throw a powerful melee weapon. The Diamond Grit Sandpaper can be used to sand objects. The Straw can be used to apply to a Blaze Burner will give it the ability to burn liquid fuels. The Barbed Wire block can be used to fence off areas. The Multimeter can be used to measure various values.CC&A is also compatible with several other mods, including Simple Jetpacks 2 (for Electric Jetpacks), Immersive Engineering (for External Heaters, Lapis Sheet pressing, Sphalerite mineral deposits, Alloys, and Treated Wood), Mekanism (for Rose Quartz Enriching & Metallurgic Infusing), Tinkers Construct (for Alloys), and Applied Energetics 2 (for charging Certus Quartz). The Electric Motor can also be used as a peripheral for ComputerCraft. Most of the items also have the ability to right click and shift to get a better description and you can also learn how to use it with the regular Create mod.

Macaw's Doors

Macaw’s Doors is a mod created by Macaw, like Macaw’s other mods. It adds a variety of new doors to the game with unique designs. The mod adds wooden doors, iron doors, glass doors, jail doors, garage doors, and secret doors. Each of these doors has its unique designs and animations. The mod also adds a new crafting system for the doors, allowing players to craft the doors from their in-game resources, such as in-game wood variants. Macaw’s Doors mod adds a lot of conveniences and visual interest to the game. The doors are easy to craft and can be used to create unique and interesting builds. Jade πŸ”

Jade is a special version of HWYLA that is easier to use. It has extra features and fixes bugs that make HWYLA better, it is a modern more updated version fork of Hwyla/Waila for Minecraft. It is designed to provide players with an improved user experience and API. Jade can be  client side only, but many features require it to be installed on the server side as well (such as item storage, horse stats, and bees in a beehive). There are many addons for both Forge and Fabric/Quilt. The default keys are as follows: Keypad 0 opens the configuration screenKeypad 1 toggles the overlayKeypad 2 toggles liquid displayKeypad 3 shows recipes (requires Just Enough Items)Keypad 4 shows uses (requires JEI and the mod to be     configured for it) Keypad 5 narrates the target.     Compared to Hwyla, Jade includes a redesigned API,  more vanilla addons, and better configuration and accessibility. Some features include item handlers, which show items inside Item handlers, which shows things that are in such as chests,     hoppers, and ender chests.     A breaking progress feature, which shows a small progress bar     when a block is being broken indicating progress.     A brewing stand feature, which shows the fuels and process     time.      Mob effects which shows what potion effects mobs have.     Entity and plant growth is also shown, which shows the     growing time and breeding cooldown of animals.     Horse stats are also shown, including jump height, speed, and     strength of horses and llamas. Item frame contents are also shown,     which shows the item in the item frame.     The mod also has a hide mod names feature, which hides the     mod name in the tooltip.     Beehives  shows the bees and honey in beehives.     Armour stands shows the armours on the armour stand.     Chicken eggs are also show the time before the next egg.     Command blocks show which commands are in the command line. Many more For modders, the mod also has additional tooltip renderers, such as the name of the mod according to Fabric or MCForge (Note this can work for loaders on top of loaders, such as FeatureCreep mods would just show the namespace for the individual item while the built in FeatureCreep items say FeatureCreepMC) this means it can work well for instances with multiple modloaders installed, which is often a concern for configs like this. Searching the modname or namespace can help you search for items in the creative menu. All of these features make the Jade Mod a great addition to Minecraft. Do note that you can not use this together with original  HWYLA due to conflicting classes and packages.

Nears

The Near mod is the perfect addition to any Nether-themed pack, adding a plethora of new fruits to the Nether. The mod adds two new fruits - Nears and Faars - which grow on bushes. To obtain these, you can break crimson and warped roots to get respective fruit's bush seeds. With these, you can make a variety of foods depending on your needs and desires. The mod also adds soul berries which can be found from soul bushes in soul sand valleys. What makes the Near mod stand out is its upcoming overhaul. Many of the blocks and items will change a lot as new content is added, so older worlds will be incompatible. This means players can look forward to a new and improved version of the mod with the new versions of the mod such as the 1.20 update. With all the new features being implemented, it is sure to provide an even more immersive Nether experience. The Near mod is an excellent mod for any Nether-themed pack, allowing players to make use of a variety of new fruits. It’s easy to use and provides a unique experience for players. With its upcoming overhaul, players can look forward to an even better version of the mod with more features. So if you’re looking for a great mod to add to your Nether-themed pack, then the Near mod. There appear to be 10 currently in the mod right now, they do not appear to have any special abilities at the moment,  though I am sure they will expand the mod more and make the food more unique in upcoming updates. Many of the foods and drinks have special appearances, some based on vanilla (like stew and some drinks) while others have completely original textures such as the Nears and Faars. It is a good Vanilla + Mod as it does not have much that is that extreme and just enhances existing nether biomes. It is Fabric and Quilt only, though an unofficial MC Forge Port does exist based on MCreator.

Choice Theorem's Overhauled Village Generation

Choice Theorem's Overhauled Village Generation is a Minecraft mod by the developer Choice Theorem that updates the game's village generation system. It adds a plethora of new features to the game, including new structures, mob types, and more. With this mod, players can create their own unique villages and customise them to their liking. The mod comes with over 20 original village variants and lots of other new structures related to biomes. The mod starts off by replacing the vanilla village generation system with a new one. This new system includes more variation in the types of structures that can be found in villages, as well as more size and shape variations. Players will also find new types of mobs, including different types of villagers and new types of animals, such as horses, cows, and pigs that are normally found in villages.   However the most important part to the mod is the new structures . These structures can be used to create unique buildings and fortifications, adding an extra layer of complexity to the game. These structures are what allows players to create their own villages and customise them to their liking. Overall, Choice Theorem's Overhauled Village Generation mod is an excellent way to enhance the game's village generation system, which is fairly primitive in the vanilla game with Mojang abandoning huge parts villages and features related to the villages.  If you're looking for a way to make the game's village generation system more interesting and engaging, then this mod is definitely worth checking out. It is available for Fabric/Quilt/Forge and also Datapack for 1.17.1 and newer, if you ask for older you will be sent to Brasil by the dev (yes that is literally something he says on some of his pages when asked for backports) because the technical limit is too high. There are many new villages in a huge gallary. It is perfectly safe to add CTOV to an existing world and update worlds with CTOV. The Structures are compatible with the /locate command making finding the villages fairly easy. It is server side only and does not need to be installed on the client in most cases as it is a server-resource-pack (a datapack). The mod part is mostly init files for the loader, there is not very much Java. It is important to note though that this does modify existing vanilla structures and could have compatibility issues with other mods which do the same thing. If you want to add this mod to a modpack you should also link back to the original curseforge page. The mod has been tested as compatible with many world generation mods such as Terralith, Oh The Biomes You’ll Go,Biomes O’ Plenty, MCA Reborn, and others.  Waystones, Farmer’s Delight, More Villagers, Croptiopia, and Bountiful, with more planned, have their own addon datapacks which can be installed separately for compatibility.Though some issues do exist such as the error:[17:45:30] [Worker-Main-19/WARN]: Empty or non-existent pool: ctov:village/red_fortified/start_road[17:46:82] [Worker-Main-19/WARN]: Empty or non-existent pool: ctov:village/red_fortified/start_roadNote: 1.17.1 Version is a datapack and should be put in the datapacks folder and enabled upon world creation.

spark

spark is a mod for Minecraft which is made up of several components for testing performance. It has a lightweight CPU profiler to diagnose performance issues, a memory inspection tool to take snapshots and analyse memory usage, server health reporting to provide metrics such as tick rate and CPU usage, and a range of guides to assist in the analysis of profiling reports or GC tuning. This makes it possible to find out what is taking the most resources. It looks at things like how much memory is being used, how much CPU is being used, and how many ticks the world is running. It helps people understand what might be causing their world to run slowly or lag.Often time structures and world generation mods are what cause the most lag, and spark tells you exactly which ones in a detailed yet simple command format./spark health is the main command and gives you information about the server's memory usage, CPU usage, ticks, disc, the network, and other information. There are also other tools for server users./spark profiler helps you get information about the profile and tasks and uploads it to a website and logging platform owned by spark. There are also many other and more specific commands for more specific things. The analysis will tell you exactly which classes the lag is coming from and a stack trace to see which classes are calling it so you can see what is causing the most lag with a little work and either remove or reconfigure the mod. It also references Native files./spark tickmonitor is the most important for monitoring tick speed and getting more specific information about what is causing lag spikes. Do note though that it does take time for the analysis to complete and it should not be run too many times in a row because the scan itself could still cause a decrease in performance despite the mod being lightweight. If it goes above 100% tick it tells you why. There is also memory monitor called GC monitor. It is important to note, that the command /spark is mostly used on the server side, for the client side you should use    /sparkb/sparkv    /sparkcrather than the traditional /spark command.Spark is a great mod for both server admins and modpack creators allowing you to optimise the performance of your server or modpack. There are not older Forge/Fabric/Quilt versions but also versions for BungeeCord and other server platforms. It is easy to install, just add the .jar file to the mods directory, and commands can be found in the docs. It also has a Discord server for discussion and support and there is a wiki describing how many of the commands work.Note: After removing it we had some slight issues and needed to restart the game once. It could have been related to the removal causing a few issues upon reloading the world or something else, just if you get issues after removal just restart the game.

The mod also includes a variety of different tools, such as shovels and rakes. These tools can be used to help players maintain their gardens and farms. Botany Pots is one of the best Minecraft Mods for gardening. The mod is easy to install on Forge and Fabric/Quilt, and the items are easy to use. Some of the Features of the Botany Pots Minecraft Mod are:1. Plantable Crops: Plantable crops such as wheat, carrots, potatoes, melons, and pumpkins can be planted in the Botany Pots.2. Breeding Crops: Crops can be bred using bonemeal and fertiliser.3. Simple Plane

Simple Plane is an aircraft and helicopter themed mod that brings a lot of diversity to the game. The aircraft crafting table can be created with some ingots of iron, obsidian and gold, these basic materials are found in the game and the same happens with helicopters, as well as we can also create the engine with some materials of the game, there are two types of engines: Basic motors and electric motors that need a specific load with a block that is on the crafting table. We can carry companions in large planes, we can also add objects such as a chest for more storage in the plane. One of the most fun features of this mod is to be able to shoot arrows, fireballs among other objects by placing a dispenser on the plane, another fun feature is to be able to charge a TNT block on the plane and while we are in flight we can launch it.The mod also brings a variety of styles that we can place on airplanes and helicopters as decorations or flag designs. We can add objects to the plane like the accessory called Floaty bedding that allows you to float on the water to the plane.Rocket Booster which is an addition to the aircraft that allows you to go at high speed using gunpowder. Shooter that allows you to place dispensers on the plane to launch objects at high speed. This fun mod is in versions like Forge and Fabric, take a look at the mod and see how fun it can be to play with friends. The download links for this mod are below.

Promenade

Promenade is an exploration and biomes mod that adds a bunch of new features and biomes, as well as other decorative things. It makes the world more diverse, and the new biomes are based on real-life trees from around the world that are not found in traditional Minecraft but still look good none the less. There are a few main biomes; most of them are distinguished by the trees (which are shown in the pictures in vanilla biomes). The  Cherry Oak forests have these pink trees that have pink leaves with     cherries in them (though breaking the leaves does not always     guarantee a cherry). The trees in this biome are Japanese Cherry     Blossoms, and the biomes are pretty simple outside of that. They are     more distinguishable from other trees in the mod due to their bright     pink texture, and these trees can commonly be found in modded     servers such as LadEarth.Carnelian Treeway has maple trees, which have brownish orange leaves and can     be found a lot, maple trees also often have a birch base, making     them a good, possibly better looking source of birch wood.Dark Amaranth Forests are forests with trees that are dark orange with a     brown stump, darker than most other trees.Palm trees, which can be found in deserts or their own biome, are very     tall trees with brownish green leaves and, in many cases, a slight     bend (unlike some of their tall real-life counterparts).Ducks in the plains and rivers, capybaras in swamps and rivers (though we couldn't find them in our version), sunken skeletons (found in oceans), and lush creepers in caves are also mobs. These mobs are, for the most part, extensions of vanilla mobs, such as the duck being similar to a chicken and the monsters having vanilla variants. Capybaras are probably the most original if you can find them, and they have two variants (brown and albino). They are said to be large rodents that can sleep and wake up at dawn. The model is a little like a pig.Ducks also have 2 variants, the "penkin", which is in the plains and forests, and the "mallard," which is in the plains, rivers, and swamps, each with their own appearance that looks similar to real-life ducks. Mallard is green, and penkin is yellow or white.Varieties of mobs can be summoned with commands. There are also a plethora of other smaller decorative blocks, items, and plants that can help make the world more interesting if you come across them, and unlike some other biomes mods like Biomes O Plenty or Oh the Biomes You'll Go, this is not an overly bloated mod that adds a plethora of useless biomes and wood variants you will not need (and prevents some mobs from spawning, making the game boring at times), instead having a fewThere is a wiki for Promenade. Though the wiki is a fairly basic GitBook wiki that is mostly like a slide show that is not fully complete, it is still good and does still provide many pictures and details about the mod on the newest version.Promenade requires the Dawn API, which is also used in many of the other mods by the authors of Promenade and provides many features. On newer fabric/quilt versions of the mod, you will also need TerraBlender because of missing FabricAPI Modules; the Minecraft Forge version of the mod does not need this though and does not currently exist.

Horse Buff

Horse Buff is a QoL (Quality of Life) mod that adds various tweaks to horses. The tweets vary from removing potentially unnecessary stuff, adding new stuff to make horses better, or even fixing bugs that Mojang has not fixed themselves in some versions.Horse Buff has different effects on the server and the client, so it is important that you have the mod on both the server and the client to get the full effect of the mod. One of the biggest changes is that a horse can walk through portals without dismounting, which can make it essential for fast interdimensional missions that require you to quickly switch dimensions. It works with both the nether and the end, and possibly with modded dimensions. Do note, however, that the bug is only fixed when the player is riding the horse as a vehicle, as riding it another way and having this work would change the game. It is also important to note that with the nether, you still need to wait some time for you to be sucked into the portal unless you have some mod that reduces the time, so it will not be like the music videos where you can just fly right into the nether; you will still need to wait, though this does not exist with the end, which is more sudden.Another change is that when riding on slabs, in vanilla, the horse has a jerking motion when riding on the stairs, this mod reduces it. This also makes stepping on blocks easier by increasing the step height from 1 to 1,1. This slight change makes climbing over bumps with horses so much easier—a little like an auto jump.Another good change is that you can also dig at normal speed when riding a horse. In vanilla, while riding on a horse, your digging speed is reduced; however, with this mod, it is normal again. One more good thing about tamed horses is that if they have a saddle, they will not wander around, so you will not have as many issues finding them if you need to spend some time away.Perhaps the most innovative server-side feature is the new breeding system. It takes traits from the parents and adds 10% random traits from each of them, give or take, and then clamps them to the vanilla minimum and maximum stats. This is mostly in horse breeding, so it may not be as noticeable to the average player, but it does produce more interesting horses in some cases. There are also some client-side features; however, these are less noticeable, kind of optional, and do not always work. You do not need the mod installed on the client if you do not want it in most cases, as the mod does not add any new registry keys that the server needs to sync. One of the client-side features is that if you look down, you can see through your horse more with a fade, making it easier to do things while looking down, like go down a hill. Another cool feature is the ability to modify the horse’s head pitch offset, which is basically the position of the horse’s head and makes it easier to see. The most important client-side feature is that you can see your player's survival inventory instead of the horse's (which is accessible with the normal E).The keys can be changed with your Minecraft keybinds. There is a final, more cosmetic change, where if you have a name tag named "jeb_" it is supposed to make the horses rainbow and change colours, a little like sheep do; however, we could not get this feature to work on our instance. The mod comes bundled with Cloth Config API to configure the mod.You can see examples on their GitHub https://github.com/CodeF53/Horse-Buff

Dawn API

Dawn API is an API that is used to make various mods for Minecraft. It is a library mod for many of the mods of the Dawn team, adding utility classes and other typical APIs for constructing mods. It aims to be available for the latest version of Minecraft at a given time and focuses mainly on builder classes to make the creation of new features easier, as well as a bunch of data fixing tools and generation. For developers, the Dawn API can be added to the build.gradle of a Gradle project for Fabric, you need to add a few maven repositories as shown on the github, as well as some by other modders like terraformer’s and shedaniel for optional mods. You will also need to set dawn_version = [version] in the gradle.properties.For players, the Dawn API has its own features, which you can get just by having the mod installed.
