Experience immersive gameplay with new realistic sounds!
Minecraft's sound effects are lacking. The vanilla game does not give much attention to environmental sound effects and this makes the in-game sounds not very pleasing to the ears. The solution that the game developers found for this issue is to add music to the game. But what if you wanted to play the game with sounds that well define your in-game surroundings.
The Immersive Sounds mod is here with the solution.
As the name suggests, this mod adds new sound effects to make the gameplay more immersive. Many of these sound effects are purely based on the environment that you are in. Let us take a look at some of the new sounds.
When strolling amongst the trees in a forest, you will hear chirping noises from all directions. This is well inspired from real life forests, where birds chirping can be heard from trees all around you.
Caves are supposed to be very silent as there are not much life in caves other than monsters and bats. This means, something as small as dripping water must be audible. This mod makes that a reality. You will occasionally hear dripping water noises when walking through caves.
When travelling across the ocean, your ears will be greeted by the sounds of sharks and waves. This is inspired from the sounds of real life oceans.
Night presents itself with a different collection of sounds. This includes owls and crows. There are also other sounds that will be audible only at night time. These sound effects will make the dark nights more eerie and haunting.
Additionally, you will also hear eagles in desert biomes.
