The Zelda Magical Rods Data Pack adds six custom magic wands to Minecraft. The rods are obtainable with custom crafting recipes. The wands fire magical orbs which travel using unique mathematical physics, including an arced path of travel and mathematically correct bounces.

So, how does this pack work?

Zelda Magical Rings works by checking for a right-click when the player is holding a magic wand. It then launches the correct projectile, which travels using our custom coded physics system which allows for arcing and bouncing of projectiles. It was coded in a way to have a minimal performance impact by ensuring only the code that is relevant gets called. This pack also comes with two custom “effects” for mobs to have; Frozen and Electrically Stunned. A mob hit by an Iceball will be frozen for 10 seconds. During this time the mob cannot do anything at all. Electrically Stunned happens when a mob is struck by lightning and keeps the mob from doing any action for 1.5 seconds.
