Sculk Depths Mod

The Sculk Depths mod introduces a new dimension that goes by the same name. This new dimension is themed around sculk blocks, the warden and ancient cities. The mod introduces new blocks, mobs, gear, and more!

How to enter The Sculk Depths?

The first step to reach the sculk depths dimension is to obtain an item called the Energy Essence. There are two ways to obtain this. The first method is to summon a warden and make it kill a passive mob. The second, and more difficult method, is to kill the warden himself. In both cases, the dead mob will drop an Energy Essence.

Once an essence is obtained, combine it with a flint & steel to craft an Energized Flint and Steel.

Once this item is obtained, head over to the central portal located in the Ancient City. Clear off any sculk vines ingrown into the portal. The interior of the portal must be devoid of any blocks/items.

Once this is done, light the portal using the Energized Flint and Steel. A blue portal will open up. Jump in, and you will be teleported to the Sculk Depths.

Features

The Sculk Depths feature two main structures. The first one is The Laboratory. It consists of a glass dome that encloses a rare tree variant. Some new blocks can be found here.

The second structure is the Underground Lab. This lab is found in the lower layers of the Sculk Depths. They are noticeable for their large bookshelves and large portal.

Furthermore, the mod introduces new sculk themed armor, weapons and toolset. The mod also adds a collection of new decoration blocks that are very different from what you see in the vanilla game.
