The Dragon Egg is an item that can only be obtained after a fierce battle with the Ender dragon. As glorious as it may sound, the egg itself is pretty much useless and has only decoration purposes. Have you ever wanted the egg to hatch and give life to a pet baby dragon? Well, it seems like that's not gonna happen. 

But here's an alternative. The Baby Ender Wolf texture pack replaces the wolf texture with that of a Baby Ender Dragon. You can tame this dragon just like how you would tame a wolf and it will follow you around and fight for you.
