Shulker Preview Mod

Shulker boxes are one of the most useful items in the game. They allow you to carry an additional inventory space worth of items (27 slots) in a single slot. They enable you to transport a large number of items at once and are very handy when traveling long distances.

One of the most common inconveniences that players face when using shulker boxes is that when you have a lot of them in your inventory, it becomes difficult to locate a specific item. You have to manually place down each box and open their GUI to determine which one contains the item you need. 

The Shulker Preview mod is here with the solution.

With this mod installed, you will be able to view the storage space of a shulker box by holding it in your hand and pressing a keybind. This is just a preview that lets you identify what the box contains, though you'll still need to place it down to add or remove items. The keybind to open the preview is set to "V" by default, but this can be configured in the keybind settings.

The preview GUI of a shulker box depends on the color of the shulker box. Additionally, by renaming a shulker box using an anvil, the text displayed inside the box can be changed. Both of these combined will allow you to create truly unique chests for dedicated items.

Currently, this mod is available for the Fabric mod-loader and requires the Fabric API to be installed. Download this awesome mod using the links provided.
