Explore a beautiful world filled with waving lush grass that makes the game visuals look truly mesmerizing.

Shader packs like Eclipse are known for their ability to add shader-grass into the game. These shader packs basically renders realistic waving lushy grass onto all grass blocks in the world, making landscapes look mesmerizing. But what if you wanted only the realistic grass effect, with none of the other shader effects? The Grassier Grass mod is here with the answer.
This mod makes all grass blocks render tall lush grass on their top surfaces. This feature makes the game visuals look a lot more beautiful, and makes the terrain look a lot more realistic, compared against when the sharp edges of blocks are visible. This grass reacts to wind in a beautiful, uniform manner.
Via the mod settings, you can toggle between two styles of grass - Segmented and Tapered. Segmented resembles a pixelated, blocky Vanilla Minecraft style, whereas with Tapered, individual blades come to a point, creating a smooth visual style similar to games like Valheim.

When entities interact with the grass, the grass blades tend to sway away from them. Mobs, entities, and even dropped items tend to sway grass away. Even players walking through the grass will cause the grass to sway.

In snowy biomes, even if a grass block has a snow layer on it, grass will still grow through it. And when they do, they tend to be snow tipped. This makes snow biomes look a lot more detailed, compared to the flat, white vanilla appearance.
It should be noted that the Grassier Grass mod is compatible with most shaders out there. Let us now explore a beautiful gallery that well showcases how Grassier Grass works in combination with some of the most popular shader packs.

Grassier Grass comes with its own settings menu, that allows you to configure many of the aspects of the rendered grass. You can adjust properties like grass height, density, gradient and even wind speed.
This mod brings adds a feature that makes your game visuals look truly mesmerizing. Performance wise, the rendered grass blades themselves does not seems to cause much stress on game performance. Without shaders, the game performed very well with no issues, based on out tests performed on a mid-end PC.
