AmbientSounds 5 or Ambient Sounds is a sound mod which adds various new sounds that appear around your world, often looped and repetitive yet pleasing at the same time if you have your sound on. It goes well with the built-in Minecraft music but also makes the in-game sounds a little more interesting if you need to turn off the MC Music for a while. Many of the in-game sounds appear in various locations at different times. Like in the vanilla game, the place can affect where the different sounds play.Despite being a sound mod, the mod has lots of code in it to determine which sounds should be played and enabled and you can configure this with multiple different JSON files in the config folder. You can set the feature locations, the sound locations, the regions, and dimensions, and the engine to get good detail of which sounds should be played where. Modders can also use the large sound engine API to help with their sound mods and playing sounds. You can also create your sound packs with information from the wiki. There are a lot of sounds in the game, some of the sounds in the game added by the mod are:Bird SoundsCicadasCricketsCrowsFrogsOwlsSeagullWolfCaveSuspenseWaterWeather WindAnd More. These can all make the game happier, or scarier, or change the game in other ways. They can though be quite distracting and set a false alarm. Some of the sounds are pretty short and basic, while others are much longer and more detailed. The sounds work in modded biomes also, Hypsellis helped get a list of biomes from various biome mods. Paul from paulscode the sound engine used in MC and MC Forge also helped fix issues in the mod. The mod updates a lot with new sounds. Many are made from online mixing tools such as amibent-mixer.com or naturesoundsfor.me making it easy for individuals to expand the sound. Requires CreativeCore
TL skin and cape is a mod for Minecraft which adds integration with TLauncher and accounts for the use of Skins and Capes. TLauncher is one of the most popular launchers and also one of the best ones. Tlauncher has a large array of features and skins and capes are one of them. This mod is only officially supported on Tlauncher on supported configurations, it may work on other launchers with your TL account or on unsupported versions, but it is not guaranteed. The skins and capes you have will be viewable by other players, but it is recommended that they have the mod installed also. It is possible to use without a TL account, and you will automatically get a skin selected many times even when you do not ask for one, but to get the most use you should preferably have a Tlauncher account, if you want even more features you can use Tlauncher Premium (though it is not available in the US or Canada). One issue is if you use a Mojang account or just play the game without an account at all in offline mode (you will get a default skin, there are many like the ones shown and others like a Zelda-style one), you may be sometimes automatically given a skin, or in some cases even if you use Minecraft Premium you may not have access to your Mojang/Microsoft Skin. Additionally, in Vanilla the mod auto installs and the Vanilla game when run from Tlauncher calls itself modded. The mod is available on a wide range of platforms officially, such asMC Forge MC Forge Optifine Optifine Forge LiteLoaderOptiForgeLiteLoader FabricMC (but not yet officially FabricSodium)Vanillaand more going back a pretty long time. You may also get the mod to work on more platforms, such as Fabric derivatives such as QuiltMC, but it is not officially supported and may have issues. In most cases, the mod will install automatically. If in Tlauncher you have access to the little blue TL Logo next to the version, that means TL Skin and cape should install automatically, you will just get a prompt asking you about your skin while trying to launch. If you want to configure your character you should get a Tlauncher account and then you can download skins, HD Skins, capes, animated capes, and more from their website or other cape and skin websites. You can download a wide range of capes including the Russian flag, Optifine, Minecon, and many other capes and skins. You can even search skins by a Mojang or Tlauncher username. Do note though that if you need an animated cape you should use a Tlauncher Premium account (Which is not the same as a Mojang Premium account and does not let you play on online mode servers like Hypixel). Many of these functionalities are more advanced and convenient than what Microsoft do. It is also very useful when someone can't pay for the game or have issues downloading. Tlauncher has been very good at making the game accessible to places that are under sanctions and can not download things like Java or buy the game by providing some of this stuff on their servers. Tlauncher is a spreader of freedom, equality and truth. It is also one of the easiest Launchers to use and very good with older and more obscure versions and clients or mod loaders. It is also one of the most popular launchers, the 1st 3rd party launcher I used and one of the top-ranking on search engines. The discord server got thousands of members within the 1st day and has more users than most launcher discords including PrismMC, PolyMC, MultiMC, GDLauncher, TL Legacy and others. It is partly known for its ability to play for free, though many big servers do not support offline accounts, many smaller ones, especially in the Spanish-speaking world do. TL does seem to also be very popular there. There is common misinformation about TL and TL Skin and Cape being malware, but this is untrue, we looked at the skin and cape mod ourselves and did not see malware and the methods used by the people claiming it is a virus are untrustworthy and have been debunked by the people at Tlauncher (it is even safer than Discord and most of the people who claimed it was malware are on Windows systems using the exe and not the jar for whatever reason, so this argument would be less valid if you use the jar and are not on windows anyhow.) and are likely done by Tlauncher’s competitors, as in general Tlaucher gets lots of slanders all around the community.Does not need Fabric API on Fabric
MmmMmmMmmMmm (Target Dummy) adds a Target Dummy that can be equipped with armour, which will reduce the damage it takes. It can also be dispensed from a dispenser and changed to mimic different mobs. The dummy shows damage dealt to it via numbers fading in and out of the screen, and the numbers change colour depending on the type of damage. You can customise the visuals and behaviour of the dummy in the mod config and shear it for different skins. The basic target dummy can be found in the combat tab and is good for practising combat. The dummy has numbers coming out of it, these numbers show how much damage is being done. You can hit it unlimited times and it will not break. There is also another number called DPS (Damage per second) which is also shown. With the hand you will struggle to get past 1,3 Damage per second, but with different weapons that number can get much higher. The mod is good for the post 1.9 combat system which requires you to not spam click as much, but can also be used to practise alternate combat systems. Such as Zelda’s Sword Skills, Commie’s Combat Tweaks, Golden Age Combat, and Combat Tests. The Dummies can also be equipped with armour and even mimic other mobs and have mob heads. This allows you to test various different types of weapons on various mobs to test how they would go in a fight and prepare you for PVP or for going against a mob you want to fight in the future. You can even test different types of enchantments, and dispenser drops, and even modify the appearance, skin and swing amounts, and messages with the config or even sheers. This mod is originally inspired by a 1.12 mod by Bonusboni but it adds many changes making it far better and it is for newer versions. The mod requires Moonlight Lib and is made by the same creator (like many of the other mods which use moonlight lib).
Just Enough Resources is a Just Enough Items addon which added new information based on resources. There are a few tabs added to Just Enough Items by Just Enough Resources, each doing various different things. Most of the tabs are accessed with a left click rather than a right click, which may cause some issues with cheat mode, though the buttons can likely be remapped and it is still possible to get the Just Enough Resources Tabs in the traditional JEI interface though. While it does work with modded content, do note, that similar to Just Enough Items, custom-modded solutions may not be able to integrate with addons like Just Enough Resources. Modders may need to do custom work to make their mod integrate with Just Enough Resources if you do stuff in a non-conventional way.One of the tabs is the trading tab. This tab shows the common trades with villagers in the game that are registered with the plugin or are just vanilla. It can show to and from trades making it easy to see what you can do with a rather useless item. The Mob drops tag shows some of the things mobs drop when they die. This can be accessed with the spawn egg and shows the likely drops of a mob and probability.Block Drops are similar to Mob drops but it is for blocks.Plant drops can be accessed by right-clicking the seed, it shows what kind of plant can be grown with a seed, what the plant looks like over time, what the plant drops, and other information about the plant.Selecting an Ore can give you information about its world generation. It gives you a graph showing the likeliness to find the ore at different depths over time as a line graph, which can be useful for people trying to mine to find different ores.Dungeon Chance also lets you know the likeliness of finding something in a dungeon.Just Enough Resources is the successor to Not Enough Resources for Not Enough Items. It also has an unofficial port for Roughly Enough Items called Roughly Enough Resources. You should also look at the Wiki for more info like profiling.
Wurst is a mod that gives you advantages. It allows you to perform block telemetry, walk on water, walk on scaffolds, get PVP assistance, excavate, find items, and more.It has a menu that can be accessed by pressing the right control key on your keyboard, but this can be changed in the settings. Clicking this gives you a list of a bunch of utilities you can use and the ability to easily change settings. This screen used to look very cool and have a search button, but no longer has the search button and instead tries to mimic other similar mods, though it still looks pretty good. Utilities can also be accessed with commands that start with dots (.).There are many mods similar to Wurst, some of them are free, while others cost money. Wurst is one of the most popular utility mods common on multiplayer servers. Some people consider it a cheat client because it can do some stuff that normal players can't do, but there are also some non-cheat features it has, such as automation, an example of this would be the excavation feature or the tunnel feature, which help get rid of much of the digging for terraforming projects; treebot, which automatically finds and chops down trees, as well as some auto clicking features for automatically clicking. Wurst like other utility clients, is recommended on many anarchy servers like 2b2t.There are many cool features in Wurst. A few of them are:Blocking TelemetryFullbright – Turns the Brightness to MaxItemESP – Highlights Item entitesMobESP – Highlights MobsBaseFinder - Highlights areas that are suspected of being tampered with by players.CaveFinder – Highlights CavesMobSpawnESP—Highlights areas where mobs can spawn and when they can spawn.ChestESP – Highlights chestsNoFall – Prevents the player from taking fall damage.Nuker – Digs area around PlayerScaffoldWalk - When you walk on the edge, it automatically places blocks beneath you.KillAura – Automatically kills nearby entities.MultiAura – KillAura but on multiple EnemiesExcavator – Digs a selected area with the tool you are holding.NoWeb – Webs don’t slow you.JetPack – Lets you Go Straight UpJesus – Lets you walk on WaterSpider – Lets you climb wallsFast Break – Single-clicking a block and waiting a fraction of a second breaks it.InstantBunker – Automatically builds a preconfigured bunker if you have Cobble StoneTunneller – digs a tunnel as per the user's settings.Sneak – Auto ShiftSpeedHack – Makes Player go fasterAutoSprint - Automatically makes the player sprint.Auto Eat – Automatically eats when hunger goes downSo many moreIt is important to note that not all of these work or are recommended at all times. For example, some require creative mode to work, and some of them can be blocked by the servers' anti cheat. Some utilities, such as Nuker, have legit modes that are supposed to bypass some anticheats; however, not all anticheats are covered by Wurst. They do have different modes for different anticheats for different utilities in Wurst, but not all of them are always safe to use, and some server owners may ban you. Some utilities, such as Miley Cirus, are just for fun and kind of worthless, while others, such as AutoEat, are not good to use and not suggested as they can get in your way.Wurst used to be a client, which you would install as its own version; however, around the 1.14 era, they switched to being a Fabric mod (all versions before that are Vanilla installers), which was the first time using Fabric for many, including me. Forge versions do exist for 1.10.2 and 1.12.2 in source code form. Many of the older client versions (pre 1.7) contained Mojang code and were taken down. Some versions that were prefabric also come with Optifine.
The Tough as Nails mod makes your vanilla survival experience even more challenging by adding various new features that will test your endurance. This includes player features like thirst and temperature, that you will have to work hard to control.Take a look at the screenshots to see what you can expect from this mod. This is a Forge mod and download links are given below. Read the installation instructions carefully.
The mod Extra Golems, as the name suggests, adds extra golems to your Minecraft world. Golems in Minecraft have not been updated since they were first added many years ago. There is only one variant of the Golem in Minecraft, known as the Iron Golem. The Golems attack hostile mobs that hurt the villagers and are guards of the village. With this mod, you can get many variants of the Golem that can be made using different blocks in Minecraft. Their health and power depend on the block used to build them. Summoning them is the same as the regular Iron Golem. You can summon golems using a variety of different blocks, including Diamond, Golden, Debris, Librarian, Leaves, and many more. You can summon golems of nearly all building blocks.
Infernal mobs is a mod, that adds custom-made diablo-like modifiers to mobs. Every mob in the game has a chance to spawn with a different rarity. Each rarity increases the mob's HP, damage, or adds other abilities. These mobs make the game harder, so there is also an increased reward for killing each of them, you can get up to quadruple experience gain, and randomly generated enchanted items. The mod should also work for mobs added with other mods.List of modifiers:1UP - Mob heals fully, once, upon getting lowAlchimist - throws Potions at youBerserk - Mob deals double damage but hurts itself on attackingBlastoff - Tosses Players into the airBulwark - Mob has 50% damage resistanceChoke - Drown on land, hit Mob to breathe for a momentCloaking - Invisibility Potion effect on MobDarkness - Blindness Potion effect on the PlayerEnder - can teleport dodge attacks, reflecting damage on the PlayerExhaust - Exhaust Potion effect on the PlayerFiery - sets Player on FireGhastly - shoots FireballsGravity - knocks back or pulls PlayersLifesteal - heals from attackingNinja - can teleport dodge attacks, reflecting damage on the PlayerPoisonous - poisons the Player on attackQuicksand - Slow Potion effect on the PlayerRegen - heals Health backRust - causes high amounts of wear on weapons and armor when foughtSapper - Hunger Potion effect on PlayerSprint - high movement speed burstsSticky - can snatch Items the Player attacks withStorm - calls down LightningVengeance - reflects a portion of all damage doneWeakness - Weakness Potion effect on the PlayerWebber - spawns Webs at the Players legsWither - Wither effect
Tinkers Construct is a mod that adds a new progression system into the game and many new progression tiers of Minecraft tools and weapons. The mod offers a unique experience by creating custom and special tools from parts. The player can make those parts from different materials. Every material that can be used for crafting now has unique effects. Those effects vary from the durability of the finished tool to the effects which completely change how the tool works. The ability to combine multiple parts for your tools creates almost infinite possibilities. Every tool then can be upgraded to get similar effects like enchants from vanilla Minecraft. The mod offers a custom-created way of crafting those items. Your first steps will require you to create the first patterns, which allow the creation of basic and limited tools. The next milestone is the creation of a huge multi-block structure called smeltery. You can use it for smelting metallic ores into more advanced metal parts with better durability and many other effects. The mod offers a lot of customization in the config file and a lot of integration into other mods, which adds even more replayability and uniqueness. Note: Mod requires Mantle to work!
Flux Networks is a mod which allows you to build Wireless Energy Networks. These help you move energy across the world and across dimensions. It is wireless, so you do not need cables, and it will, in most cases, perform better than a cable-based system. You can seamlessly transfer different formats of energy. Forge Energy, AE2, IE, and EU Energy formats are officially supported, and there are no transfer rates.Optimisation, Organisation, and customisation are at the forefront of Flux Networks. You can set priorities for your network, give names and colours for the networks and name specific connections inside the node. You can remotely monitor your spikes and drops in energy generation and remotely adjust the settings for all connections to the current network. You can also set the chunk-loading capabilities of each connection.Security is taken very seriously with Flux Networks. You can:Encrypt your network with a password Decide which players are allowed to use or access their network If you are a super admin, you can also delete inactive networks and switch ownerships of networks. The security features are mostly used for multiplayer instances.Multiplayer was recently improved in version 4,0,7 with the help of BloCamLimb, and SonarCore is no longer required, though there are still missing features in newer versions. On 1.12.2 and earlier, there is a similar mod by the same author (sonar_sonic), which has many of the same features and more as Flux Networks called Calculator that does still require Sonar Core. Flux Networks itself is available on 1.9.4-1.12.2 (and 1.15.2 and newer, which is not supported by Calculators), but does not have everything in the calculators mod and does not go as far back as the Calculators mod.Flux Networks generally works better with other tech mods. By itself, Flux Networks does not do much and has little purpose (due to not much in MC requiring energy or having energy protocols). Immersive Engineering (and most add-ons), Industrial Craft 2 (and most add-ons), and Applied Energetics (and most add-ons) will work right out of the box.The mod has a few blocks and items used to make the network. The Flux Block is just an average block in the Flux Network. Flux Plug receives energy from adjacent blocks, adding energy to the network. Flux point is like Flux Plug but removes energy from the network. Flux Controller, which enables wireless charging, and storage blocks. The Basic Storage Block holds 2000000 Forge Energy, and the Herculean one can hold up to 16000000.Right-clicking on any of the blocks outside of the Flux Block will open up network settings for the said block. It will let you decide which network you want to join. If you are not in a network, you can easily create one. You will need to be in a network to do much with the blocks (outside of setting the options for the individual block), but creating and setting up a network is generally very easy to do with the config. Once you have a network, you will be able to see the following: Stats in a graph Tick speeds Energy The amount of each type of block in the network. All the devices in the network. The network system works very well with other network-based mods like AE2, Storage Drawers, and Redefined Storage, especially if you need to move large amounts of energy around.
Storage Drawers is a mod which adds specialised storage drawers into the game. The ideas of Jabba and Bibliocraft influence it. They are compact and serve a particular æsthetic function separate from these mods, more complementary than competitive. Instead of a traditional inventory system, you use a click-based interaction system similar to Jabba. Different click combos do various tasks. Right-clicking: Puts a full stack of the item in your hand into the drawer (if it can’t fill the full stack, it will put as much as it can) Double Right Clicking: Puts all compatible stacks from an inventory to a drawer until it fills or you run out of items. Left Click: Removes a single item from the selected drawer. Shift Left Click: Removes a full stack from the selected drawer Shift Right Click with an empty hand: Opens the selected drawer’s UI to see the items, their quantities, and the ability to upgrade the drawer. Note for players of the Jabba mod: The shift-click functionality is reversed from Jabba due to Jabba being more optimised for stacks while Storage Drawers is more optimised for single items; however, the controls can be customised in the config. You can use multiple different vanilla wood variants (add-ons can add custom variants which many mods do), and there are numerous different sizes, with the biggest supporting 32 stacks. The upgrade path is not sequential; you can jump levels to your preferred size. You can also lock your drawers with keys to protect your stacks. There are indicators on the storage drawers to indicate how full they are, and they light up when it is full. There is another type of drawer, which is grey, called Storage Drawers. These let you automatically convert things like ingots and similar items into storage block formats or other items based on repeated items used to make another item, which is common in many tech configurations. You can also combine drawer inventories via a Drawer Controller and connect drawers via pipes or trims (a wood decorative panel block used to connect), which allows you to interact with large groups of drawers. Controllers can also be used as deposit-only blocks for items that already exist in the network and will be done if you double right-click. The drawer controller is similar to that of Refined Storage’s network system. One kind of drawer is a Controller Slave, similar to a drawer but cannot be shared; however, controller slaves have better performance than traditional drawers.Storage Drawers has integration with lots of mods and also has lots of add-ons (especially 1.10.2 and newer). Storage Drawers is supposed to be a complementary storage mod, not a replacement one. Storage Drawers are supposed to be used with other mods. Storage Drawers are also typical in many tech setups for their ease of use and auto compression. Drawers complement BiblioCraft’s blocks.Drawers worth with Jabba’s Dolly Aspect labels exist for Thaumcraft for hard-to-distinguish items related to essentia Drawers are compatible with AE2s storage buses, and it is the suggested way for seeing contents WAILIA will list the inventories and counts of DrawersA MineTeaker exists to help control the ore conversion allowlist/denylist. Compact drawers list the number of items that can be made, even if they can not all exist simultaneously. The mod has an extensive config which allows you to change many of the values and even whether or not a block should be enabled. It is possible to modify this from MC Forge’s config screen. You are also allowed to include this in modpacks, including public ones. Note: Chameleon is required for the 1.8-1.12 versions of the mod.
Conquest Reforged is a recreation of an old texture pack called Conquest packaged as a mod. The original resource pack was designed for players who wanted to improve their Minecraft creative experience beyond the limitations of the base game. Upon loading the game, the game will tell you to install the Conquest Reforged resource pack (which is different from the Original Conquest Resource Pack). The required resource pack can be found here https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/conquest-reforged-resource-pack/. The textures are 32x and try to be realistic, and are compatible with Optifine. There are thousands of blocks and hundreds of textures, including lighting, particles, and animations. There are textures from many different historical and fictional timelines. Many of the blocks are custom 3D models. There is also a built-in GUI for customising and selecting blocks with a tab system. To get full advantage of the textures, you need to install the resource pack. Without the resource pack, many of the textures are blank, including some vanilla ones (in some versions, some vanilla textures are missing even with the resource pack, most notably the tall grass in 1.16.5). They have an online community of builders. Conquest Reforged is one of the best building mods because of its sheer size. Some themes represented include Roman, Arabic, Middle Ages, Industrial Revolution, ArdaCraft's Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Dwarven, Elven, and many others. You can make structures which look realistic if you make them big enough. Conquest Reforged has many materials for building highly detailed castles and many intractable Mosaics. There are also realistic-looking trees right out of the box, enhanced foliage, and the ability to add custom leaves and branches and customise just about every aspect of blocks for the ultimate building mod.The mod has deep integration with Optifine integration, and it is recommended you use Optifine because it looks much better with Optifine. You can also use your preferred shaders of choice in most cases, but they won't be needed as many of the models look beautiful, and you won't need them. The resource pack needs Optifine to work correctly according to the pack.mcmeta description. The creative UI has been completely redone to allow for the customisation and the inclusion of thousands of blocks. It includes better grouping based on things like material and type and uses a wheel-based system to help you navigate. The traditional creative tabs still exist, but the default ones have changed, and the mod by itself has four pages of tabs. There are a few issues that come with the massiveness of this mod. First of all, the file size of this mod is over 100MB on some versions, and second of all, you will need to increase your RAM allocation to be able to even play the mod. Playing at only 3GB will not work, and the game will stall while loading up until it eventually crashes. We suggest a lot of RAM if you include this in a larger mod pack. Even by itself, this mod takes a long time to load, especially at the texture pack loading phase, which is often the longest. But if you allocate a lot of memory, the mod will eventually load up. However, it will take a while, especially on versions 1.16.5 and earlier, if you do not have a high-clock CPU. The resource pack is enormous (about as big as the mod itself), so we suggest keeping it off when not using the mod. When you enter the game, you are introduced to the dialogue about the resource pack (if you do not have it) and then an introduction to the keybinds. The V key only works in creative mode and shows the texture shape variant. You can do this in the traditional creative tab menu and see a circular representation of all the blocks combined with a zoom on mouse-one. Ctrl+Middle Mouse Button gives the shape of the item you are looking at to your hot bar; this also works on creative only.Note: Worlds made in 1.9.4 are incompadible with worlds in 1.10.2 and newer.
Blur is a simple mod that will add a blur to the GUI backgrounds in your game. The vanilla GUI backgrounds are just regular game visuals with a dark overlay on top. Many players find this distracting and unsettling. The Blur mod blurs out the backgrounds behind a GUI. The blur is aesthetic and visually pleasing. Even the death screen that appears after a player dies, has been blurred. Earlier there used to be just a red overlay. The blur strength can be adjusted in the mod configs. Although, I personally think that the default blur value looks the best.Take a look at the screenshots to see what you can expect from this pack. This is a Forge mod and download links are given below.
Have you ever wondered far away from your base and found a location that is so beautiful that you wish you had your base there, but your base already have a base in a different location? If this is you, then the Capsule mod will help you out a lot. This mod essentially lets you put entire bases into tiny capsules that you can carry in your inventory. Then you can deploy and place these bases anywhere of your liking. The maximum size that a capsule can hold is 31x31x31. This will let you carry an entire storage system in your inventory. Blueprint capsules can take materials from chests or other inventories to duplicate a structure. It supports rotation and mirror. Note: Many people find an issue where the build blueprint appears glitched out while trying to deploy a build. You can deploy your base just fine and the final deployed base will not have any issues. See screenshot.Take a look at the screenshots to see what you can expect from this pack. This is a Forge mod and download links are given below.
