MSS - Moog's Soaring Structures Mod

You can mine down in the overworld to uncover a world of endless caves and secrets. But if you try going up in the overworld, you will soon be left alone in the tranquility. The sky in Minecraft does not have much detail, other than the clouds, which do nothing other than to add detail.

Moog's Soaring Structures mod, or MSS for short, is here to change that. This mod adds a large collection of floating islands into the game.

Of the many floating structures added by the mod, the Arena stands unique due to the abundance in features and it's sheer size. The Arena consists of a large stadium with well detailed design works. Beside the stadium, there is a small forest with a lake flowing in between.

The Cherry River is a floating island that generates over the cherry blossom biome in the overworld. This island consists of a few cherry blossom trees, some bamboo and a small lake with a tiny bridge over it.

The White House is another notable structure added by this mod. This a medium size mansion with a forest surrounding it, which gives it a majestic look. The house has a lot of features to be explored. 

There are many more island structures that are added by this mod. The Volcano is one among the most notable of these structures. It consists of a central erupting volcano with a lot of varying features surrounding it. Take a look at this mini-gallery.
