In the current versions of Minecraft, there is no way to naturally obtain iron in the Nether. You have to rely on treasure chests to find them. This makes it hard for players to perform Nether-only survival challenges. But here is a mod that solves this issue...
The Pigsteel mod adds a new mineral into the game called "pigsteel". This is a Nether variant of iron and can be used as a replacement for iron in most of the vanilla crafting recipes. Furthermore, the mod also adds ore blocks for pigsteel, along with solid pigsteel blocks and it's cut variants. These blocks can be used for decoration and will look good in red/pink themed builds.
