Pyrologer And Friends is a content-heavy mod that expands the illager faction in the game. The mod introduces several new illager variants, mini-bosses and bosses, along with new structures and items. Let us take a look at some of the features of this mod.

Dozens of new illagers

The mod introduces dozens of new illager variants into the game. Each variants comes with its own unique abilities and behavior. For example, the Hypnotizer is a passive but dangerous mob that wanders and hypnotizes nearby animals like pigs, cows, chickens, etc. and turn them into hostile "Hypnotized Animals" that will attack you.

The Anarchist is another illager variant introduces by the mod. This illager can detect players within a decent range and once detected, he will throw dynamite at them. The dynamite will explode upon contact, dealing a fair amount of damage to the victim.

The mod also introduces some new bosses and mini-bosses into the game. Many of them can be found in their own dedicated structures, which too are introduces by the mod. Some mini-bosses are illager-themed. This means, they look very similar to illagers in terms of size and naked appearance, but come equipped with high-level gear.

The above shown are just two of the many structures introduces by the mod. There are many more structures that you will come across as you explore the world. The Shogun's Shrine structure shown above usually generated in bamboo forests, and houses the Shogun mini-boss. These structures also inhabit other unique opponents and contains treasure chests.

First of Sandstone

Found in Desert Fortresses

The "First of Sandstone" is a boss mob that can be found roaming near the Desert Fortress structure introduces by this mod. This boss can shoot TNTs and can perform melee attacks, making it challenging for both short-range and mid-range combat. Another thing to keep in mind is that Desert Fortresses generate with a large battalion of pillagers, whom you will have to face before fighting the boss.

The mod introduces a collection of different wands that will allow you to perform ranged special attacks. Wands like the Wand of Blaze and Wand of Voltage allow players to cast spells on enemies from a range.
