If you are someone who frequently explores snowy biomes in Minecraft, the Stay Warm Together mod will help enhance your experience. This mod introduces three new mobs and some related features. Hearthgoops are the item that Hearthjaws produce once they are warm. They are basically a concentration of all the unwanted warmth that they expel. They emit light and the hearthjaws tend to place them in dark areas. This makes hearthjaws good at lighting up dark areas in your word. These mobs also tend to sleep closer to the hearthgoops they place.

Bloominas are the next mob introduced by this mod. They are small, winged creatures that lights up areas as they fly. They tend to help Hearthjaws. Simply feed a bloomina some wheat seeds, and they will convert it into charcoal and feed it to a nearby hearthjaw.

Control the light

By crafting a new tool called the "Bloomlight on a Stick", you will be able to control the movement of nearby bloominas. Simply hold this tool in your hand and nearby bloominas will move towards where your crosshair is pointing at, essentially making this a long range flashlight.

When attacked, bloominas tend to fully close their shells. As mentioned above, bloominas are in close relation with one another. Therefore, attacking a bloomina will cause any nearby hearthjaw to defend them against the attacker.

How to summon a 'Bloomina Bud"

Breeding bloominas is a very simple process. Simply feed hearthgoops to two bloominas that are closer to one another. This will trigger the breeding mechanism, and they will place a flower-like item called the 'Bloomina Bud" on nearby ground. This bud will eventually hatch into a baby bloomina.

A systematic companion

The third and the final mob introduced by this mod is the Rimeite Queen. Along with the rimeite queen are her tiny minions that are simply called "rimeites". This mob has some special features that we will explore below.

When the rimeite queen feels suitable, she will deploy a number of rimeites that will go around collecting snow layers and supply them to the queen. This is indicated by the raise in snow level in the bucket-like structure on the queen's body. As this happens, the queen tends to stationary and manufactures "rimeite bricks" that the rimeites will collect and place down to build an igloo around their queen. This is a very slow process.

How to accelerate igloo creation?

As mentioned above, the rimeite igloo building process is a very slow one. But the play can intervene and speed up the process by directly inputting snow layers, snow blocks, snow balls, or water buckets into the rimeite queen's bucket.

Rimeite igloos are built using a new type of brick called the "snow brick". They come in three variants - full block, slab and jelly storage. Rimeite igloor are the only way of obtaining this very unique-looking building blocks.

Raise rimeites into queens

When you require more snow brick blocks, you can raise multiple rimeite queens to build their own igloos. Simply feed an item called "rimeite jelly" to a rimeite and it will grow into a rimeite queen. To obtain rimeite jelly, right-click using a glass bottle on a full (level 3) jelly snow brick.
