Sprout Mod

The Sprout mod introduces a collection of new features that hep improve the farming/agriculture aspect of the game. The mod introduces new mobs, plants, items, etc. Let us take a look at some of the features of this mod in detail.

The Meadow is a new biome introduced by this mod. This biome is very much similar to the vanilla plains biome, but meadows have sprouts growing on them. This biome is the home ground for the new elephant mob introduced by this mod.

Cute little elephants

Elephants are a new mob introduced by this mod. Unlike what is expected, these mobs are actually small and cute. They are about one block in size and can be tamed with peanuts, which are introduced by this mod. Elephants usually spawn in the new meadow biomes.

Flowerbox

Using the crafting recipe given above, you can craft a new item called the 'Flowerbox". Flowerboxes are used to create flowers of different color variations. The instructions on how you can create dyed flowers using flowerboxes are given below.

Three flowerboxes can be placed in a row. Place two different flowers on both ends. Eventually a flower with mixed properties of both the flowers on the ends will grow. This process can be accelerated using bonemeal on the central block. As seen in the image above, allium flowers of different colors can be bred using this process.

Bounce bugs are a new mob that spawn in the Warped Forest and Crimson Forest biomes in the Nether dimension. They can be bottled by the player and can be used to accelerate the growth of nearby warped fungi and mushrooms.

In the recent versions of the mod, butterflies are introduced as well. They are tiny 2D flying beings that makes your world appear truly alive. As of right now, the butterfly mob appears to be in development.
