Hot Swap Mod

Most blocks in the game have dedicated tools that will allow you to break them efficiently. Blocks like stone require a pickaxe, wood requires axe and dirt requires a shovel. For this reason, most players dedicate 3-4 slots of their hot bar for tools and weapons. But manually switching to the correct tools every time you are about to break a block, can be an inconvenience. The Hot Swap mod is here with the solution.

Switch tools based on situation

With this mod installed, the game will automatically switch to the most appropriate tools required for the action you are about to perform. In the image above, the tools being held by the player is shown in the circle. The player is holding a pickaxe. But just when he starts breaking the wooden log, the tool automatically switched to a pickaxe.

Once the player finished breaking the wooden log, the tool being held automatically switches to the initial one. Here, the moment the log has finished breaking, the tool has been switched over from the axe the one the player was holding initially, a pickaxe.

Applies to weapons too

The above feature applied to all tools and weapons in the game. The tool/weapon in the player's hand will switch over to most appropriate one as long as the player has the required tool/weapon in his hot bar.

Configuration

In the Controls settings, you can set keybinds that will let you enable/disable the mod. You can also set a keybind that can be pressed and held down so that the tool/weapon does not switch in required cases.
