Minecraft's terrain generation can feel jagged and too blocky at times. The element of realism when it comes terrain generation is essentially non-existential in the vanilla game. The terrain often generates in unrealistic shapes and elements that defy gravity. And most biomes only vary in color and tree types.
The Lithosphere mod is here with a solution.
Making Minecraft's terrain generation as realistic as possible is the sole goal of this mod. And it does so very well in a very cinematic way. You will get to explore large sized biomes with a lot of unique terrain.
The mod adds a lot of new terrain features like rivers, valleys and lakes. The mod also introduces a completely overhauled cave generation.
