How to Summon a Draugr Raid

Draugr raids allow you to fight several waves of undead enemies without searching for a structure. Before beginning, prepare strong armor, food, healing supplies, and a dependable weapon, as every wave becomes more dangerous than the last.

Craft a Draugr Awakening Soul Gem

Craft a Draugr Awakening Soul Gem by placing four Amethyst Shards in the corners, four Diamonds around the sides, and one Stalhrim in the center of a crafting table. The newly crafted gem begins empty and displays a counter showing that it requires 12 Draugr kills. Keep the Draugr Awakening Soul Gem anywhere in your inventory and kill 12 Draugr or Draugr variants.

Begin the Raid

Take the filled gem to the surface and right-click while standing beneath an open sky. The gem will not activate underground or beneath a roof. Once used successfully, the first raid wave appears nearby, followed by additional waves after every group has been defeated.

Survive the Final Wave

Later waves contain larger and more varied groups of enemies, including Draugr Archers, Wights, Scourges, Skeleton Warriors, and other powerful variants. The standard raid contains three waves, while the stronger post-Nether configuration contains four.

Defeat the Draugr Overlord

The final wave summons the Draugr Overlord alongside the remaining raiders. The Overlord has 400 health and uses blocking, spinning attacks, and other powerful combat abilities. Clear weaker enemies when possible, maintain your distance during its strongest attacks, and use the terrain to avoid becoming surrounded.

Defeating the final wave completes the Draugr raid and rewards you with the loot dropped by its enemies and boss. The encounter is one of the mod’s toughest challenges, so summon it in a spacious area where you can move freely and recover between attacks.
