Critters and Companions is an absolutely adorable mod that adds multiple mobs to the game, with a few of them having useful functionalities and some being decorative. You will find them in rivers, plains, the ocean and some other locations, with the Koi, Ferret, Otter, Dragonfly, Red Panda and Dumbo Octopus being some major examples.Dragonflies can be tamed with spider eyes to help you out during combat, Otters will attack fish near them and eat whatever fish you right click them with, but they'll also open clams that you can get from fishing. This will get you pearls, that you can use to make a necklace that gives you major buffs for underwater exploration.Ferrets can be tamed with raw rabbit and will dig for loot if you give them raw chicken, or assist you when looking for animals to hunt. If you find enough Koi Fish grouped together in a river, they'll give you a Luck buff.This mod offers versions for both Forge and Fabric. A timeless classic, Immersive Engineering is a tech-industry mod that adds many multiblock machines, power sources, animated windmills and waterwheels and awesome weapons like the Railgun and the Revolver.It's a complex and difficult mod to understand and work with, but the challenge only makes it all the more interesting; To get started, craft an Engineer's Manual and keep it stored in your inventory when working on the mod's contents. Then make an Engineer's Hammer and build a Coke Oven and Alloy Kiln, both made of simple materials like clay, sandstone and bricks.With a Coke Oven, you can make Coke Coal and free charcoal out of logs. It's slow, but effective, be sure to make multiple. You'll also get Creosote Oil as a byproduct, so be sure to store it and use it to make Treated Wood. The Silo and Tank multiblocks allow for massive storage of items and fluids respectively, make good use of them. The Metal Press is also an incredibly useful tool, allowing you to make plates, cables and many more items in a cheaper and more effective way. You can connect it to conveyor belt lines to move items around automatically.Having an array of Blast Furnaces is also incredibly important, as the best content this mod has to offer is gated behind Steel and you can only make it in those.

Ice and Fire is an adventure mod that adds a lot of unique content to the game. Most notable are dragons which now soar the skies of the Minecraft world.  The mod does not limit itself to them. It offers a lot of mythical creatures like gorgons, cyclopes, water serpents, trolls, and many more. Every new creature is created in a way to make them feel alive. Dragons begin in their nest, fly around, hunt and feed on the animals and then return to their nest to get some rest. You will be rewarded with new materials if you take down these creatures. These materials will allow you to get access to various weapons, armours, or even mythical artifacts that will help you during your adventures. It is not only about the killing of new creatures. The mod also offers a way to tame some of them. Sometimes you can find the dragon eggs in their nests, which you can take to hatch yourself. The newly hatched dragon will then allows you to explore the world on its back! The mod is also very configurable. You can alter creature behaviors, spawning areas, or stats with many different configurations. If you ever get lost with the mod or its features, it offers its bestiary that you unlock with progression and exploration. This mod currently offers: Dragons - They all have different colors and types based on their location. There are fire dragons, frost dragons, and the newly added lightning dragons. Hippocampi - Sea horses! Gorgons - Dangerous mythical half-woman, half-snakes. Sea serpents - Distant relatives of the dragons without wings! ... And many more! Note: The mod requires different libraries depending on the version like the citadel library (1.16.5)

Custom Started Gear is an amazing mod that will let you decide what starter items players will have in their inventory when logging in into a world for the first time. This will be very useful when playing with your friends on your server. Here's a guide on how to use the mod :Put all the items you wish players to start with in your inventory (Note the slot in which you place them will also be saved)Then run the command "/csg_config set" to save your inventory.Now when a player logs in for the first time they will get an exact copy of your inventory. (Including item NBT and meta, as well as armor equipped) If you want to manually give a specific player an inventory, you can use this command :  "/csg_config give <player>" Download links are given below.
