Explore an improved End dimension!
The End dimension in Minecraft has not received an update in many many years. It has remained the same for a very long time, and Mojang does not seem to be bothered about updating the End. Do you wish to see more content in the End dimension?
If the answer is yes, the End Reborn mod is for you.
This mod revamps the End dimension to give you a newer, much better, gameplay experience in the End. Some of the vanilla game mechanics are completely overhauled, along with a lot of new content. Let us take a look at some of the notable features of the mod.
In the vanilla game, you could break the lower part of a chorus stem and the entire plant would break, dropping all of the parts. This is no longer the case. With this mod installed, breaking the lower stem of a chorus plant will no longer allow you to collect chorus fruits. You will have to directly break the fruit part of the plant from above in order to collect fruits.
With this mod installed, breaking the lower stem of a chorus plant will no longer allow you to collect chorus fruits. You will have to directly break the fruit part of the plant from above in order to collect fruits.
Breaking the lower stem of a chorus plant will only drop a new item called the "Chorus Stem", which can be used to craft the chorus wood set. This includes different building blocks, slabs, stairs, doors, fences, signs, etc.
While exploring the outer end islands, you will occasionally come across purple colored stone clusters within the end stone. These purple colored stone are purpur stone, and you can break them to reveal two other minerals hidden inside them - Ametrur and Crystalline.
Each of these minerals can be used to craft items of their own blocksets. Ametrur blockset contains items that have a very dark blue texture. While the Crystalline blockset, on the contrary, emits light.
Both blocksets have blocks with very unique designs, that will make them suitable for a variety of different builds.
This mod introduces two new late game gear sets into the game. The first one, called Featherzeal is crafted using Timelost Fragments, which found in the outer islands of the End dimension. The upgrade templates for these can found in End Cities.
Featherzeal tools come with an increased mining speed. Gear crafted using this material is also unaffected by gravity. You can throw one out from your inventory, and it will stay there, floating in the air. They are also unfazed by the void.
The second gear set is the Remnant set, crafted using Forgotten Remains found in the Deep Dark. The upgrade templates for the same can be found in Ancient Cities. They have increased durability and are immune to blast damage when dropped and in regards to durability.
Both these new sets are equivalent to Netherite. Both can be upgraded using their respective templates on a smithing table, just like Netherite.
End Remains are new structures added by this mod. These are small ruined structures that can be found scattered across the outer End islands. Within these ruins, you may find bookshelves, a crafting table and even a chest filled with a small amount of loot.
This mod requires the Cloth Config API as a dependency. Make sure to have it installed along with the mod. The mod is available for Fabric, and the download links are given below.
