Aether Spellbooks Mod

Master Aether magic, conquer guarded shrines, and take spellcasting to the skies.

Aether Spellbooks brings the magic of Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks into The Aether’s floating islands. With 16 themed spells, new shrines, hostile spellcasters and magical equipment, the addon gives players more to discover while exploring the sky dimension.

The Aether’s familiar glowstone portal leads to a world where magic offers new ways to fight and travel. Conjure temporary cloud platforms, ride a spectral Moa or strike enemies with lightning, icy projectiles and miniature suns.

The addon expands your magical collection with sixteen scrolls, three spellbooks, five staves, four spellblades and four accessories, alongside two armor sets. The spellbooks provide different capacities and bonuses for Nature, Holy, Lightning, Fire and Ice magic, allowing you to choose equipment that supports your preferred spells.

Two new structures—the Valkyrie Sanctum and Solar Altar—appear on the Aether’s floating islands. Their contrasting temple and fiery altar designs mark encounters where guarded chests can reward exploration with spell scrolls, runes, upgrade templates and rare magical equipment.

These shrines are protected by Valkyrie Sorceresses and Solar Acolytes, two new hostile spellcasters. Sorceresses combine Holy and Lightning attacks with healing and control magic, while Acolytes bombard enemies with fire spells and summon fiery minions.

Custom 3D staves and detailed mage armor give the new equipment a distinctive appearance. Valkyrie Mage armor supports brief flight and faster airborne casting, while Phoenix Mage armor offers fire protection and a lifesaving rebirth ability.

Aether Spellbooks connects exploration, combat and equipment progression across both parent mods, giving dungeon rewards and familiar Aether materials new magical uses. Whether you prefer summoning allies, controlling enemies or building around a particular spell school, the addon adds more reasons to return to the floating islands.
