Rocketry

The Rocket Station is your starting point to go into space travel in the Stellaris mod. This is where you'll build and launch rockets to travel to planets like Mars and Venus.

To craft the Rocket Station, you will be needing a crafting area (Crafting table) and these materials:

• Rocket Nozzle ×1
• Steel Ingots ×66
• Rocket Fin ×3
• Rocket Controller ×1

Place these items in the crafting table as shown in the image. The layout resembles a rocket, which is a fun touch from the mod developer that makes the recipe very intuitive and easy to remember.

Rocket Travel

Once crafted, the Rocket Station will allow you to build rockets, manage fuel, and access the planetary travel system in the mod.

Here is the preview at what you will be building:

• Rocket Parts – These includes Engines, capsules, fuel tanks, and more. You will build these and assemble them in a special rocket workbench. Each one of the rocket is customizable.
• Machines & Tools – Surviving in space needs more than basic tools. You’ll need things like oxygen machines and power generators. Stellaris gives you machines that you must be built using both common and rare or unusual items. 
• Planetary Gear- Some planets are harsh, so you'll be needing special equipment like space suits, life support, and advanced mining tools.

The Planets

Once everything is ready, you can travel to other planets in the solar system. Shown below are images from Mercury, the first planet of our solar system. Being closer to the sun, the planer is a fiery hell, filled with fire and lava.

Our closest neighbor, Mars, offers conditions that are better than any other planer out there. Mars has its own alien life and flora and offers a lot to explore.
