In the comparison above, you can notice several different high-end shader effects like volumetric fog and reflective water. Rather than acting like an overlay, the fog actually fades content based on how far they are from the point of observation.

Clouds can be noticed in the sky at all times. The sun and the moon are now rounder and has a faded glow effect, which looks quite mesmerizing. The clouds too are volumetric and not just solid boxes.

It is important to mention that the lighting effects added by this pack also supports PBR textures. This allows the light to react with 2D block surfaces in such a way that the surface actually appears to have grooves and crevices on them as if they were 3D. This can be noticed on the simple comparison given below of dirt blocks.

One of the notable features of the pack is glowing effect of flowers at night-time. Likewise, ores are also given emissive textures, which makes them easier to spot. This is crucial as this shader makes darker areas appear more darker.

As far as performance is considered, the pack performs well even on a mid-end device. On low-end devices, a drop in performance can be expected. But it can further be optimized by accessing the shader pack settings.
