Starfall Bow Mod

The Starfall Bow mod adds a magical bow that summons falling planets, powerful star beams, and a final singularity blast. Available for Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge, it features a custom crafting recipe and adjustable combat settings. Install it on both the client and server for multiplayer.

The Starfall Bow features a detailed purple and turquoise 3D model, 2,031 durability, and support for standard bow enchantments. Repair it with Nether Stars in an anvil. Hover over the weapon to check its readiness, or hold Shift for ability details.

Starfall Bow Crafting Recipe

Place four Amethyst Shards in the corners of a crafting table. Put a Nether Star at the top center, an ordinary Bow in the middle, and a Gold Block at the bottom center. Add a Diamond on each side of the Bow to complete the recipe.

How to Activate Starfall

Carry arrows, equip the bow, and hold right-click for approximately one second before releasing. Regular arrows are fine. A fully charged shot triggers Starfall when its arrow hits a block or entity. Partial draws and shots during cooldown fire ordinary arrows. Aim around 40–60 blocks away for a clear view.

The Genesis phase creates a glowing sun and orbiting planets above the impact point. Once triggered, the sequence runs automatically. The attack stays at the original impact location, even if the creature you hit moves away.

Nine Planets Fall from the Sky

During Planetfall, nine worlds—from Mercury to Pluto—crash down one after another. Each impact deals area damage and produces bright effects and flying debris. These debris effects can appear even when actual block destruction is disabled.

Star Beams and the Final Singularity

The sun descends, and six colored stars fire beams into the impact area. It then collapses into a singularity, leading to a final blast around 40 seconds after impact. The full event lasts roughly 48 seconds, with the shooter and their owned pets protected from its area damage.

Optional Crater Destruction

Enable block destruction to let the final blast carve a deep crater. This feature is off by default. Destroyed blocks drop no resources, and removed containers lose their contents, so test it away from valuable builds.

Adjust Damage, Cooldown, and Targeting

Open Mods → Starfall Bow → Config → Server Configuration → Starfall to adjust combat settings. Defaults include a 60-second cooldown, 20 blast-radius setting, and 1.0 damage multiplier. You can disable damage to other players or enable descending arrows to seek hostile mobs.

Set Terrain Destruction Limits

The Blocks settings control excavation. Hole Depth 0 allows digging to the world bottom, while Max Blocks 0 means unlimited removal. Set positive limits for smaller holes, keep Break Bedrock off, and use Protected Blocks to preserve selected blocks.

Customize the Crafting Recipe

Go to Common Configuration → Recipe → Crafting Grid to replace ingredients. The nine entries follow the crafting table from left to right, row by row. Keep all nine entries, save your changes, and run /reload with permission—or restart—to apply the recipe.
