Trinkets (Fabric)

Trinkets is a trinket mod for Minecraft FabricMC. It allows you to add Trinkets to your player. Trinkets are alternate slots (similar to armour slots) that allow you to add alternate pieces of gear which can do things and that modders can take advantage of. It is similar to Curios API, however, it is a bit simpler and more in line with Vanilla but a little less compact and without the default slots and example trinkets. By themselves, trinkets do not do anything but instead require mods to make use of it and come up with trinkets and a lot of trinkets may not look this good.An example is the Charm of Undying mod which adds a custom slot for its mod which allows users to add the totem of undying while treeing the offhand from the totem of undying.Existing vanilla items can also be turned into Trinkets and be given their own abilities, such as in the Charm of Undying  mod, and the items can have descriptions.Trinkets are officially only for FabricMC, Curios API is arguably a better mod if the mods support it and has recently been ported to Fabric, though is not on many older versions for Fabric.

Unusual End

Unusual End is a mod that seeks to bring excitement and variety to the otherwise dull End dimension in Minecraft. The mod introduces new mobs, biomes, and plants to the End world, making the journey through the End much more interesting and engaging. One of the most notable additions in this mod is the Ender Golem, a new mob that can be found in the End city. This powerful creature is there to defend the city from predators, making looting the End city more challenging and rewarding. In addition to the Ender Golem, Unusual End also adds new biomes to the End, such as the End Forest and End Mountains. These new biomes are home to unique plants and creatures that can only be found in the End dimension. Unusual End is a great mod for players who are looking to add some excitement and variety to their End adventures in Minecraft.

BetterF3

BetterF3 is a mod which adds a different F3Screen. Pressing F3 on your keyboard will instead bring up a new F3 Screen which reorders the items and changes their aspect ratio and positions and colours and size. Many of the similar fields are grouped together in the same colour, such as Chunk and Region data is blue by default, Render and Graphics data is Orange, etc. The title can though be different colours (such as XYZ). The answers are also different colours from the field name and can also be a variation of colours.  Most of the content is similar to the vanilla F3 Screen, though the aspect ratio changes and it in some ways is bigger and should be zoomed out more and takes up the whole screen more and the colour choices were rather odd. And can be distracting at 1st. It takes some getting used to the new F3 Screen. There is also a different sliding animation to enter the F3 Screen. The Main benefit of BetterF3 is customisation. You are able to set what you do and do not want and can change the colours and spacing, size and more. Cloth Config is bundled with a Jar-in-Jar on Fabric, though on Forge it needs to be installed separately. You are also suggested to have Mod Menu.If you have Cloth Config you are able to customise the menu by pressing F3+M and are able to change the general settings and the individual module settings, and other stuff for your liking. This can be used to make the F3 menu more minimalist or include other modules from other mods or change the colours or the general layout. This can be good for taking screenshots with some but not all info or for hiding information about your computer such as which hardware you are using that could personally identify you if found in a screenshot. The mod has been reviewed by many YouTubers such as Bloodyneck and AntVenom and a logo made by Nirewen and development builds on GitHub.Though in many ways the Vanilla F3 screen can be better if you prefer a completely white and unmodified, Vanilla can be better.

Botany Trees

Botany Trees is an add-on for Botany Pots that allows you to add saplings to pots, including vanilla ones. This is different from Botany Pots, which by default does not let you plant much, while Botany Trees lets you plant saplings from Vanilla and a variety of mods to add new ways to harvest wood. You plant a sapling, it starts out small and then get bigger over time. You can make the trees grow faster using bone meal. When the trees grow they do not change appearance, they just scale to a bigger size. Once the tree finishes growing, it adds wood to the Inventory for the pot and then waits a few seconds and then starts over (though you may need to right-click the pot to make it reset. But in general, it is a much easier and quicker way to get renewable wood.Botany Trees is good for automating tree planting and you do not need to manually look for saplings or destroy the wood or use axes. Just sit and it will grow put the wood in the inventory where you can pick it up later.Botany Trees, like Botany Pots, has compatibility with other mods, and it does still very well. Some of these mods are:  QuarkBiomes O' Plenty Forbidden     ArcanusSimple FarmingBiomes You'll GoBetter Default BiomesSilent GearThe list of mods is not as long as the original Botany Pots, there are still many, and you can still use data packs to add more compatibility.

Roughly Enough Resources

Roughly Enough Resources is an addon for the popular mod Roughly Enough Items (REI), which adds a variety of useful tabs to the REI interface. It is still possible to get the Roughly Enough Resources (REI) tabs in the traditional REI interface. It is important to note that while Roughly Enough Resources does work with modded content, custom-made solutions may not be able to integrate with it. Therefore, modders may need to do custom work to make their mods compatible with Roughly Enough Resources.  It also displays both to and from trades, making it easy to see what you can do with an item. The Mob Drops tab shows the items dropped by mobs when they die and can be accessed with the spawn egg. The Block Drops tab is similar to Mob Drops, but it is for blocks. Plant Drops can be accessed by right-clicking a seed, and it displays the plant's growth stages, the items it. It is accessed with left click, meaning it could have some slight issues with Cheat mode. It can be remapped though. This is an unofficial port of Just Enough Resources (JER) (An addon for Just Enough Items) which is a successor to Not Enough Resources (NER) (An add-on for Not Enough Items). In many cases Roughly Enough Items has a better User Interface than Just Enough Items, making Roughly Enough Resources a better alternative to Just Enough Resources some of the devs of Roughly Enough Resources (such as shedaniel) are also developers of Roughly Enough Items, Architectury (Required), and Cloth Config (Required). Many of the details are also better than Just Enough Resources in many ways. Additionally, Just Enough Items was only recently ported to Fabric (in the 1.19 era when it is still in alpha or beta) so for older versions of Fabric Roughly Enough Items ( and its addons) would be preferred for Fabric before 1.19 or in instances where you want both to have the same version. Roughly Enough Items (but not RER) has a Rift version also. This does not show villager trades. Instead you have to use a separate mod called Roughly Enough Trades

Just Enough Resources (JER)

Just Enough Resources is a Just Enough Items addon which added new information based on resources. There are a few tabs added to Just Enough Items by Just Enough Resources, each doing various different things. Most of the tabs are accessed with a left click rather than a right click, which may cause some issues with cheat mode, though the buttons can likely be remapped and it is still possible to get the Just Enough Resources Tabs in the traditional JEI interface though. While it does work with modded content, do note, that similar to Just Enough Items, custom-modded solutions may not be able to integrate with addons like Just Enough Resources. Modders may need to do custom work to make their mod integrate with Just Enough Resources if you do stuff in a non-conventional way.One of the tabs is the trading tab. This tab shows the common trades with villagers in the game that are registered with the plugin or are just vanilla. It can show to and from trades making it easy to see what you can do with a rather useless item. The Mob drops tag shows some of the things mobs drop when they die. This can be accessed with the spawn egg and shows the likely drops of a mob and probability.Block Drops are similar to Mob drops but it is for blocks.Plant drops can be accessed by right-clicking the seed, it shows what kind of plant can be grown with a seed, what the plant looks like over time, what the plant drops, and other information about the plant.Selecting an Ore can give you information about its world generation. It gives you a graph showing the likeliness to find the ore at different depths over time as a line graph, which can be useful for people trying to mine to find different ores.Dungeon Chance also lets you know the likeliness of finding something in a dungeon.Just Enough Resources is the successor to Not Enough Resources for Not Enough Items. It also has an unofficial port for Roughly Enough Items called Roughly Enough Resources. You should also look at the Wiki for more info like profiling.

Pig Pen Cipher

Pig Pen Cipher  is a security, encryption, and font mod which add the  Pig Pen Cipher (also known as masonic cipher, Freemason's cipher, Napoleon cipher, and tic-tac-toe cipher) font which can be applied to books, messages, and others.Commands such as "/pigpen say" and "/pigpen book" can be used to use the cipher on a server, and developers can use the IFomattableTextComponent class to apply the cipher to text components. Additionally, vanilla commands such as the "give" and "title" commands can be used with the cipher by specifying the font ID in the text properties in the command. With Say being what is used for ciphered messages and book being for ciphering books. There is also /pigpen tile (which does the same thing for blocks with text such as signs) and /pigpen hand (which renames the itemstack in hand to a name in pigpen).Developers can also easily have their mods integrated by modifying the ItextComponent. The mod comes with some security drawbacks though and should not be actually used for security. Pigpen cipher offers no real protection when it comes to cryptography. Using symbols instead of letters cannot prevent it from being deciphered, and it is not dissimilar from any other straightforward monoalphabetic substitution cipher. Moreover, its widespread recognition means that it is not a reliable choice for security purposes. As a consequence, Pigpen is often featured in books about ciphers and secret messages intended for children. The code may have been common in the middle ages and earlier, it is not a good way to hide your info. Even the authors of the mod (Mostly DarkHax, who is not very honest himself) say that and even offer a decryption guide. More info can be found on the Wikipedia page. What is even worse is that the mod by itself is only a font mod, and the actual things you are saying can easily be read by the server log and possibly by others without the mod especially when the mod is installed on the server. What is worst of all is that the command system has decryption for all of the text making it very easy for someone who knew about the existence of the mod or pigpen cipher in general could easily find a way to reverse engineer this. While PigPen Cipher these days is largely supposed to be used for fun, it can often be an inconvenience for those who do not want to play. Decryption info can be found on the wikipedia page with a basic guide in the images.

Dawn API

Dawn API is an API that is used to make various mods for Minecraft. It is a library mod for many of the mods of the Dawn team, adding utility classes and other typical APIs for constructing mods. It aims to be available for the latest version of Minecraft at a given time and focuses mainly on builder classes to make the creation of new features easier, as well as a bunch of data fixing tools and generation. For developers, the Dawn API can be added to the build.gradle of a Gradle project for Fabric, you need to add a few maven repositories as shown on the github, as well as some by other modders like terraformer’s and shedaniel for optional mods. You will also need to set dawn_version = [version] in the gradle.properties.For players, the Dawn API has its own features, which you can get just by having the mod installed. These include:Extra     NBT parameters for TNT TileEntityA     flying block entity that is similar to a flying falling block /export     command, which can be used to export information about a game’s     content./motion     command, which lets you control the motion and velocity of entities./foodbar     command lets you change the hunger and saturation of entities./health     command lets you control the health of entities. Most of the features are mostly about controlling various elements of blocks and entities, which could be useful for some modpacks and maps, mob battles, or just having fun. Dawn API also has a contributor’s guide on their GitHub for people who want to add their own stuff, which also explains how to get started with development. Dawn API necessitates the use of Fabric API or Quilted Fabric API.Dawn API is mostly for Fabric in general. The developers of Dawn API are also behind Promenade, Culinaire, Artisanat, Mubble, Universal Ores, and other primarily Fabric mods, some of their mods use Dawn API, so if you use them you may want to get Dawn API.Dawn API also has built in compatibility with Cloth Config, Mod Menu, and AppleSkin.

Item Borders

Item borders is a mod that directly enhances the visuals of Minecraft items in your inventory by adding custom item borders. On its own, the mod does not apply special borders to most items (Common items are disabled by default, I have made it visible so you can see directly how it looks if you use to change it), so it is up to the user or mod pack designer to customize as needed. The mod offers many customization options in its configuration file. You can edit how borders look if they should match legendary tooltip rarities, border visibility on your hotbar, and many other features. Note: The mod requires Iceberg and Prism(For versions 1.2+) to work properly in newer versions.

Legendary tooltips

Legendary Tooltips is a mod that directly enhances the visuals of Minecraft items in your inventory by adding custom item borders and some quality-of-life features. On its own, the mod does not apply special borders to most items, so it is upto the user or mod pack designer to customize as needed. One of its more interesting features is the rendering of an item in its tooltip when hovered upon in the inventory or its way of compressing the lore text of any custom-made item in the game. (As you can see in my basic custom-made item in screenshots, which was made to showcase this exact feature) The mod also offers customizations with the use of its configuration and resource packs. Borders can be customized via resource packs which are capable of replacing the default border included in the mod with up to 16 custom borders that can be used by the mod.Note: The mod requires Iceberg and Prism(For versions 1.3+) to work properly in newer versions.

(2 on land. 1 in Nether)Personally I love the Nether City's which are repurposed End City's but found in the Nether instead; as well as this, the underground mineshafts found in the three dimensions add so much more to the game making it feel really unique and explorable. If you are bored with basic Minecraft exploration this mod will add many more features to give you a better experience exploring the game world!

Farming for Blockheads

Farming for Blockheads is a small farming mod that adds various farming stuff to the game. These things make farming in Minecraft Easier for the player by adding things like fertilizer, chicken coops, auto feeders, trading posts, and more. The mod is quite simple and lightweight and keeps the game's balance the same.Fertilizers are one of the main things in the mod. There are three types of fertilizer; the Yellow makes crops grown on it immune to being trampled on. The Green Makes them grow in higher quantity, and the Red makes them grow faster. The fertilisers can be mixed, but you cannot mix Red and Green. In creative mode, you can obtain all the preferdalised block combinations, while in survival, you can get the federalised blocks by clicking farmland with the fertiliser you want to apply. The chicken coop you place, and the nearby chickens will place their egg in it.There is also a feeder, you put it somewhere, and then you set your preferred food by right-clicking, it can even be a full stack, and then the nearby animals which eat that type of food will automatically come by there and eat it and automatically have children. Though you can have a stack of items, you can only have 1 type of item per feeder. There is also a trading post containing a villager from which you can buy different types of plants/saplings or farm material; however, to buy an item requires an emerald, so just like other villagers, it is not a good deal to trade with him.The mod is quite simple and makes farming, in general, more straightforward and more efficient. The mod works on FabricMC/QuiltMC and MC Forge and uses the MultiLoader template. The mod integrates with other mods such as Just Enough Items, Simple Farming, Biomes O Plenty, and More.

Origins

Origins is a mod and family of mods which adds special abilities known as origins which the player selects upon starting a new world or upon loading a world which did not in the past have the origins mod.It is essential to know that Origins is not a single mod, yes, there is a mod called Origins, but that is just one mod. Origins have summoned a whole family of mods, adding more types of abilities that are not simple. Examples of this areClassesAspectsAccessibilitiesCursesBlessingsIdeologiesElementalsAnd more Other types of Abilities can be added on top of Origins.3rd party mods add these other things. These other things are often added after Origins. Such as, if you have Origins Classes, when creating your world, you will first be asked to select an Origin and then a class. Most Origins add-ons are compatible with each other, but not all of them. It is also easy to make Origins Addons and new Origins. Many mods add more Origins or collections of Origins, such as Mob Origins. The Origins Mod adds Origins, not the other types such as Classes, Aspects, Curses, or any other non-Origin. The stand-alone mod is small but adds a few Origins, which are described on the choosing screen. Some of the Default Origins are:Human (No abilities, just like an average Player)Blazeborn (Start in the Nether, have fire immunity)Merling (You can breathe in water but not air)Enderian (You have teleportation abilities)Feline (Take no fall damage)Shulk (Additional nine inventory slots which keep inventory when the player dyes and is stronger)Elytrian (This one lets you fly)Arachnid (Allows you to trap your enemies in webs and climb up walls)More (Shown in pictures)The different types, such as Origins, can all be changed by Obtaining an Orb, a simple item the mod provides where you right-click.Origins is not meant to be played by itself but rather with the large ecosystem of mods. Origins often port to the newest MC Version and were very big around the 1.17 era. The Origins mod is designed with FabricMC in Mind but was later ported to MC Forge and can be run on QuiltMC. Origins are also widespread on servers, and there are many origins-based servers among the most popular categories of modded Minecraft servers. There are also ports of Origins to Bukkit, allowing players with vanilla clients to connect to your server; however, the Bukkit versions are less sophisticated than the Fabric version.Origins for Fabric has integrations with Apoli, Calio, PlayerAbilityLib, Cardinal, and Cloth Config, but has potential issues with OptiFabric/Optifine and Identity. Apoli and Reach Entity Attributes are Jar in Jared on the Fabric Version of Origins, so they will not need to be installed separately; however, some of the others, such as Calio and Cloth Config, will need to be installed manually.
