Iris Shaders Mod has become quite popular those days as an alternative to Optifine mod, but having greater performance. However, the majority of players did not prefer it on top of Optifine because of the small support of shader packs. The good news is that today Iris does support almost all of the popular shader packs available for Minecraft. The difference the Iris Starline edition brings to you is the feature that enables shader settings. So now you can alter all the properties of your shader pack as you did with Optifine.

Rubidium is an unofficial for the Sodium mod and it is made for the Forge mod loader. This mod contains all the features of the Sodium mod and makes it possible to have them on Forge. This mod is not compatible with Optifine. So you will have to use the Oculus mod the play with shaders.

Experience cool non-Euclidian effects using the Immersive Portals mod. This mod lets you travel seamlessly between dimensions. Lighting a nether portal will immediately show you the nether instead of the purple portal blocks. This makes way for some cool effects that messes with your brain. You can even create rooms that look really tiny from the outside, but when you open the door to enter them, the room actually spans hundreds of blocks in dimensions. What is this? This mod adds vertical slabs to the game, one for each type of vanilla slab. They work the same way as normal slabs, and form double slabs when placed together on the same block. Except, you know, they're vertical instead of horizontal.
